I'm a woman. Unless NAL has been super safe during her ACTIVE times, and that's highly unlikely, she would have baby trapped a rando dude by now.

Actually, she did think she was after the first visit. She bought a baby bottle, and had some weird texts saying that cats know, and her cat was acting weird.

I think she is trying to baby trap, but I think the goiter is preventing it.

If by self harm you mean drinking more than usual than yes. He sounded completely sloshed in that stream last night. NAL surprisingly didn’t. She’s trying to bait him to do something.

I knew if she showed up he would cave. I just didn’t think her broke ass would take the chance going there without having a place to stay the whole time. But I guess a cheap motel in Casper can’t be that expensive.

Josh can't regulate his emotions like most people. That's why he breaks his phone, cane, cups, guitar, etc in fits of rage and breaks down (sometimes in tears) instead of calming himself down in any non-self destructive way. His substance abuse is another form of regulating his emotions externally. He doesn't seem to be violent towards other people and the closest I've seen him get to that point is the fight with Warlord where Josh pushed him down and threatened to end Warlord.

He may have violent thoughts towards NAL (or others) but I think it's less of an attempt at stopping himself from hitting her and instead a way for him to calm himself down. If he didn't hit himself here, he may still have those thoughts and issues with his emotions but probably wouldn't lash out at her physically.

I'd argue semantically that he's been resorting to self harm since he was ever able to obtain substances that can be abused since he always saw it as cool and rebellious way to spite papa nips with the "Fuck suicide I'm going out slowly, painfully and wait pay-shent-lee for death." attitude. Even before when the retard thought he was getting high from huffing dollar store cologne when it was probably just burning from inhaling alcohol fumes.
