I'm gonna give a bit of TMI but it might shed some light on what MIGHT have happened (of course a medic-kiwi or the autopsy will know more). So I have a close family friend, who in under 10 years had: their appendix removed, they're tonsils removed, heart issues that went into the hospital as simple heart pain and walked out a quintuple bypass, and most recently a gallbladder removal. One would say bad luck but also these issues were caught right at the last moment before it could get very very bad, so good luck? Every time something happened, this family friend said that they would feel an immense amount of pain and discomfort. You know pain, breathing, pain laying down. Of course they would never go to sleep and they would just go to the hospital but it was very bad. When their gallbladder had to be removed, it by itself twisted around the ligament or whatever it is that holds it to body and cut itself off from blood and half of it became necrotic and it was dying. When that happened this family friend said that they were in immense pain and they couldn't lay down or sit and after around 5:00 or 6:00 or 12 hours or something like that they drove themselves to the hospital and the doctors took it out and gave them antibiotics and they were out within 3 days. I think something died inside Josh. Could be his liver he could. His appendix could have just exploded I don't know, but if it hurts to breathe and it hurts to lay down and he's vomiting and shitting all the time that's not a see you tomorrow. Sort of thing. That's a you get to the ER now Sort of thing.

What I don't get is why didn't any of these? Reddit ween faggots, who like to call the cops and the pizza man to every goddamn stream, call a fucking ambulance?!? His father should not have been the one to find him.

I remember people getting pissed over clint for not just dropping him off at a rehab. cobra could just refuse treatment and clint couldn't do anything. any court battle for josh to be sent to rehab would be a long uphill battle that, most likely, would be unfavorable for clint or anyone wanting josh to get help.

A father is going to bury his son, have some compassion.
Clint was not a perfect father to Josh, every parent is flawed in some capacity, but not every parent was dealing with an autistic son with ODD, depression etc.
Parents of perfectly normal children feel the pressure of raising a normal kid, imagine the pressure of raising someone like Josh.

It's something that you think is sure to happen at any moment but he endures again and again, then you turn away for just a second and there he goes.

There are mixed feelings about Josh, I know I've gone back and forth on my opinion of him several times. But as it has been said time and again, the overall negative impact left by this man versus others we observe here was negligible. Whether by virtue of his limitations or a genuinely steeled resolve, he managed to navigate life with eyes and ears upon him at seemingly all hours, something I don't believe I would be able to do.

The individuals who provided him, a man with known substance abuse problems and developmental issues, with addictive or harmful substances in order to produce "content; those who took advantage of Josh, both in his personal life and in heinous cliques online; the invalids who took to platforms like Reddit to exaggerate his behaviour, to encourage glass-tapping and grapple endlessly for a moment of his attention - it is my hope that you, too, will soon have an [inactive] stamp next to your name.
