He used it during my favorite food hack era, when he had the burger obsession.
My favorite food hacks come from this era. Because he'd throw the burgers on the stove right out of the freezer, and they'd always end up raw on the inside, burnt on the outside, and still somehow not even completely dethawed.
"Satan's Breakfast Burger" is my absolute favorite.

Healthcare in the U.S. of A. is a total fuckin' nightmare on so many levels but there is at least a federal-level law called EMTALA: basically it says when someone shows up to an ER you have to stabilize them, treat them, and worry about the payment later. It's abused by so many people that most Emergency Rooms operate at a huge loss and most hospitals just write off the charges for tax purposes. I mean, they'll try to get you to pay but nobody does.

Anyway, they'd have to make sure Cobes doesn't die, becomes stable, and gets dumped off to some other services. if he goes to the hospital.

Cobra isn't even seeking out medical attention. He could go to an emergency room or see a doctor, but he isn't. They can't force you to get treatment against your will.

Cobes is on SSI and almost assuredly has government health insurance. He could definitely go to the doctor any time he needed and he could show up to the emergency room regardless. However it's much easier to stay inside your comfy trailer where there's no new people, new sounds, scary lights and people judging you. I'm of the opinion he'd rather die in that trailer than seek medical attention.

If you want to see a very sad case of this, read the stoneman thread. Not only is stoneman a really funny cow and entertaining, but it ends very sadly as he believed hospitals had trebuchets that launch you into outerspace or that nitrous gas wielding terror soldiers from the screen actors guild would be waiting there to intercept him. So, because we were the only people who actually cared about him he died a slow and painful death alone from a blood infection from his rotting leg.
 
I’m seeing people on the Reddit and The Boglim speculate two possible things of what’s caused Cobes to get sick:

-NAL included poisonous rain lily seeds in the care package and he ate them - the most unlikely scenario

-Walmart just did a shrimp recall because it had radioactive contamination. And what did Cobes eat recently? Shrimp (albeit it was a month ago right after Ozzy died but he could’ve recently got shrimp and ate it offscreen). Still the most likely scenario.

I could see this being a thing. The boy has been skrimp looping. My brain immediately goes to Fallout. Get homeboy some Rad-Away stat or if he’s already turning into a ghoul wouldn’t the rads heal him?

Since hes still very likely under SSI, he should have some basic healthcare, also Clint can just zoom him to ER in his cool mustang. Its just Josh doesn't want to do anything about it as usual.
Also if he goes to hospital, i low key hope they would also pull out all his teeth as precaution.

I honestly think it's just because they created a cartel when it comes to health services, everyone prices their shit similarly and you can't even say "ok, bye" because there's no universal healthcare in the US.
Honestly, if there's one thing both the left and the right should agree upon is that the US is rich enough to create and maintain PROBABLY the best universal healthcare system in the world, politicians don't do it because people who pay for their campaigns are interested in keeping things as they are right now.

To be fair, I suspect even he knows that the first thing any medical professional, fuck even the receptionist, going to say is stop drinking. As he does not want to stop drinking nor face the reality of his situation with regard to his health, he will just ignore it for now and try to power through it.

death by organ failure is VERY painful I think even cobes with his autism pain blockers would eventually give in and go to the ER. If I was clunt and cobes was being defiant I'd be reverse psycology-ing him that they will give him dilaudid and all sorts of super cool drugs. He'd be so high you could give him an empty wood pipe as a binky. He wouldn't know it's not lit. Twu

You forgot to add his perennial discomfort means he is missing signs other people would pick up on early, he could very likely miss his crisis point and end up in a far worse situation than he could be.

That we can agree on. He has said it himself multiple times throughout the years that I've been following him and he wants to die. Badly. He's not suicidal, as in he's not going to slice up his wrists or OD on pills on purpose. He's quite content with drinking and eating himself into an early grave.
It's so upsetting to me on a personal/TMI level because I understand mental illness, but you cannot make a horse drink no matter how much you force it to. He is beyond help until he himself wants it. It's just so difficult to see posts like that facebook live and knowing nothing can be done except watch the car wreck happen.

It's a common enough joke that "the current saga" is the worst one when you are a fan of KingCobraJFS but this is truly the worst saga we're in. NAL just felt like the final seal breaking and now judgment day is hastily approaching.

Funnily enough, one of the things that allegedly got him to stop smoking spice was someone convinced him that your penis would get smaller if you smoked it.
