I have an autistic cousin who is more sheltered than cobes but now at 34, he's a neet. Oddly enough, his parents made his autism/aspergers his entire life. My cousin got into a car accident and he relapsed and is now a 34 year old shut in neet. Honestly hes just like cobes except that hes straightedge.

On the flipside, my college roommate was pretty autistic. Probably... 70-75% of cobes' potency. He had plenty of weird delusions like cobra (anime powers instead of chi balls, opening naruto gates, ect) but he wound up graduating college, got a job in IT, worked in it for 10 years, then went ahead and got a job in a hospital IT dept, and is making well over 60k a year. Everyone knew he was an odd duck but we rolled with it and he's a fairly normal, weird, anime nerd in his later 30s.

You CAN make something of your life if you dont lean on crutches all the time and cope.

i cant fully blame clint since he has to be a little retarded in his own right to have even hooked up with cobes mom to begin with. but he is just doing what many parents do when they have a child with some form of mental impairment. they either accidentally or on purpose reinforce all the negative traits of the issue to the point that the child no longer has the ability to improve.

i think there was a time where cobes could have made something of himself and even if he was a little slow at times could have held down a well paying job as well. but it seems like he was never really taught much in school or at home aside from the basics and eventually the bog brain consumed him.

current cobes is beyond saving the constant drinking and duster abuse have destroyed his brain cells to the point if he even survives long enough he will almost for sure end up in a group home because he will have the brain function of a 80 year old if even that.

if cobes was given all the tools to succeed when he was younger and taught how to manage his issues he would be an entirely different person than what we see now.

this is exactly what will happen when/if cobes tells her to fuck off forever. she will say all sorts of shit trying to "expose" him and try to make herself the victim. her entire goal with everything she does is to get as much attention onto herself as possible.

The one thing Cobes won't tolerate is people talking shit about his friends or family. It sends him into a rage. This might be the thing gets rid of the bog demon for good.

I think another thing that fucked up his ability to improve was American public schooling as well. I remember back when I was in High School when I would see the special ed classes they would have kids like Josh, people slightly more retarded than Josh, and then full on mongoloids all together. I would imagine that the variety of tards makes it much harder to teach a class, and all I remember them doing was waiting out in the hallways when some belligerent tard was breaking shit in their room.
