You see this alot with EBT and other benefits. It's why alot of people work under the table for cash. You'll see upstanding gentlemen with a wad of 100 dollar bills in their pocket buying red bulls and shit at the grocery store with EBT cards and using their hundreds to buy cigarettes and beer.

If they work as a day laborer and are paid in cash, they don't claim the income so when it comes time to apply for Section 8, EBT and Utilities assistance they say they are flat ass broke.

It's a good grift.

The most unhinged of cobra alogs post on alt accounts, respond to their own comments on alt accounts, upvote their own comments from alt accounts and then constantly accuse people of using alt accounts. They frequently get banned, rightfully for being unhinged alogs, and create numerous more accounts. There’s u/ClothedandSobbing going on about setting up numerous sock puppet accounts each day just to troll NaL. Coincidentally they were in here posting on an obvious sock puppet named the same and acting a-loggy. Ended when they got gifted a pink triangle laughed out of this very thread IMG_7711.jpeg

I bet there’s no way to verify whether or not the applicant is being honest about owning a car. Interesting way to filter candidates. The more honest they are, the less likely they are to get EBT.

It is a good grift. For the government. Upstanding gentleman are capped at ~$40,000/yr salaries. There is a deep chasm of anti-prosperity if you ever want to make the leap from government dependence to true prosperity and independence because almost all 6 figure jobs are legit.

You have the looming threat of losing these benefits if you ever piss off the fed and the daunting task of overcoming the mother of all economic filters if you ever want to escape the cycle. It’s a great way to guarantee votes.

I prefer to think of it as a curse being lifted; the space is no longer bound under Cobra's oppressive funk. Plants replenish and upright themselves, and black smudges and stains rise out of the paint on the walls like a fine mist and dissipate into the air. I bet it will feel inexplicably peaceful, like the quiet stillness after a bad storm.

This video was my first introduction to Cobra and it's still one of my favorites. It has a certain quality to it that reminds me of being a kid and just wasting time with stupid friends. Minus the wildly homoerotic energy though.

with cars i believe they check with the DMV to see if that car is registered to the person applying. everything else you could in theory just lie about. thats how you end up with those people who claim their friends and siblings children as their own in order to get more money.

but yeah you are right when you say the more honest you are the less likely you are to get EBT. lots of people like to talk about how easy it is to get but in reality they will deny you for even living in the same house as someone else who has money even if you are not related to them at all.

which is why you need to think about what you say because they are looking for any reason they can to deny you. thats why the idea of cobes of all people committing any form of fraud is hilarious. he cant even keep a secret for more than a few hours there is no way he could lie as much as required to commit any form of fraud.

plus with EBT stuff you need to do an interview every year which clint could do for him but even then they would need poof that cobes is even a real person.
