Well, idiot, Killer7 is considered* to be one of the most noteworthy games ever made.
It was part of the Capcom 5, a quintet of "exclusive" titles for the Gamecube which ended up turning into one vaporware game (dead phoenix), two games that most people who wanted them just bought on PS2 instead (Viewtiful Joe and Resident Evil 4), a complete pile of shit that stayed exclusive because nobody else wanted it (P.N.03 Product Number) and something nobody played on anything (Killer7).
It's a hard game to summarize. It's called "action-adventure" on wikipedia, but it's more of a rail shooter with a heavy horror aesthetic and spy thriller tone.
The gameplay of Killer7 consists primarily of moving on rails to combat invisible suicide bombers called Heaven's Smile, occasionally picking between forks in the road, and periodically solving "puzzles" (in the capcom sense primarily of 'put triangle emblem in triangle slot', though there are some decent ones). If you like rail shooters, it's perfectly serviceable.
But the gameplay isn't what people come to Killer7 for; People come to it for it's mindfuck of a plot (which is heavy on symbolism and is a metaphor for the post-war relation between Japan and the United States or... Something.), stylish aesthetic, kickin soundtrack and amazing spectacle.
