I can only endure some of the football ones for a short time, I know nothing about wrestling, so I won't even try.

If anyone is brave enough, and I feel guilty asking... anyone who knows a bit about WWE can they try a bit see if Kent knows what he's talking about?

I just watched up to the part where he finished describing the Nikki vs. Naomi Divas match, which is what I was interested in. He seems to know the terminology and is genuinely trying to follow the storylines and who he feels should be given a push.

He's completely right about the Bella's being sucky up until the last few years. I attribute that to them getting into relationships with upper card talent, and being pushed into relevancy with the Total Divas reality show and new acquisitions.

Naomi has definitely worked hard for her spot, but they need to break the teams up at some point so she can compete in singles matches. This will also cut down on the distractions and interferences at ring side, which is what Kent wants, and I agree. A run-in once in a while is fine, but at some point just having the multiple interferences to cover lazy writing is bleh.

This is Naomi, btw.

Ah ok, so like Football Kent really does follow and care, I'm sorry to make you endure that, but inquiring minds want to know.

I find it interesting that Kent has a decent grasp on his hobbies, higher than most in some ways, from what was said in his vidya posts he kinda sucks at video games. But he really knows his WWE and NFL.

"I can be friends with a female, but I can't ask them out."

Oh don't kid us, Kent, you can't be 'friends' with a woman, you'd endlessly try to hit on them and take them out for the entirety of the friendship, before ranting about the friendzone.

Oh god damn, it I wrote that friendzone comment on a whim, but at 4:50 he does complain about it. Talking about how he'd want to go from just being friends with a woman to a romantic relationship (Surprising no one that he wanted to sleep with her), and that he's sick of being told stuff like, "Kent, I'm sorry, but I don't like you that way."

7:20 Kent fights back the urge to ask out a random woman on the street in the middle of the night.

8:15 Kent gets irritated by happy couples again, before telling us that he's working to get over being upset by couples. Clearly he's not doing a good job at it. Also, "There's water, there's fish in the water too." I would imagine so, Kent, considering last time you told us to jump into said water and get devoured by the "evil fish."

Considering Kent makes a habit of saying he can become friends with a woman, but fails at getting to go out with them, "taking it to the next level", like they're sequential parts of a stage, he was hardly ever their friend if his only goal was to sleep with them. He also makes a habit around 9:50, "I can be their quote unquote 'friend,' but when it comes to asking them out, they say no." The quoting of 'friend,' just seems to get the point across further. He makes it sound like that a man and a woman being friends isn't quite the same as a friendship between two adults of the same sex, but simply a temporary stage before they hook up.

Kent really comes off like Chris in this, seeing life as a RPG, he feels he can hit level friends with girl, but needs to level up and hit g/f. Not that platonic friends exist. Also Kent says he can be friends with girls since he talked to the girl in Seattle, you had a nice chat, friend is a strong word you aren't friends.

If Kent had the concept of being just friends he'd have a much better chance with getting a woman, via one of her friends and girls flock to guys who are mature enough to have platonic friends at that age, trust me.

Kent saying he won't ever have a g/f is not being as negative as it's a self fulfilling prophesy. Aside all of Kent's issues what girl would love to latch on with some guy who says he won't make it in life? When people are starting to get grown up and settle down the last thing they want is to latch on to someone treading water, something Kent goes out of his way to remind people he's doing.

Well after that video, I have a headache too Kent.

That literally caused a coffee spit take. You've made my day @DEAF_TONES

The blackLSophere is a crazy sad place. I've said it before the only thing more dangerous to Kent then his own current life is getting a date who doesn't call back, because Kent is well, Kent.

Also dear women of south California, I'm so sorry for what Bryan Vlogs is unleashing on you.

So he actually knows a thing or two about wrasslin? That's a disappointment. Would be way funnier if he one of those fans that thought it was real.

I can't see him doing it any other way. Kent doesn't see women as people or equals, so the highly successful and normal way of meeting people with smiling and saying hi is probably lost to him, even if someone told him that he'd consider it trolling or a way to end up in the friend zone.

More I put some thought into it, shows how not logical Kent is he says he's alone and has no friends and claims he can make friends we females but chooses not too because he cant date him, so he can make friends and chooses not too, then still has nerve to claim he's got no friends.

His mind set is so one track, but at the same time he's got no concept of the work or travels to get something, it's kinda like if he said I want a brownie and I said ok lets go to the store and pre heat the oven Kent would go rage out, saying I want a brownie why you messing with the oven?

@DrChristianTroy That would provide some big time humor, but I find it quite interesting he's got a solid grasp of his hobbies, he's Kent and he knows more about them than a lot of fans.

I didn't watch the rest of the vid, but I was wondering the same thing. We'd have to see more to see if he's speaking from the POV as a fan or someone oblivious.

He's actually, despite his knowledge of wrestling, complained about people who called it fake in the past. I wasn't sure if he thought people thought that it was staged (Which it is), or that he thought people believed literally nothing was happening, that it was like CGI or something. He's gone on about how it's all totally real before, which really confuses me, given the fact he seems to have a fairly good knowledge of it.

Tbf a lot of nerds get worked up if you call it fake. Like really worked up. Throwing out the phrase "it's real" is interesting though. I'd investigate more but by god do I never want to watch a Kentray video.

I got the impression that Kent understood/understands that the plotlines of wrestling (and the presumably the outcomes of the bouts, as well) are fake/staged, but is offended if people don't acknowledge the athleticism and skill required to perform the moves.
