"I can be friends with a female, but I can't ask them out."
Oh don't kid us, Kent, you can't be 'friends' with a woman, you'd endlessly try to hit on them and take them out for the entirety of the friendship, before ranting about the friendzone.
Oh god damn, it I wrote that friendzone comment on a whim, but at 4:50 he does complain about it. Talking about how he'd want to go from just being friends with a woman to a romantic relationship (Surprising no one that he wanted to sleep with her), and that he's sick of being told stuff like, "Kent, I'm sorry, but I don't like you that way."
7:20 Kent fights back the urge to ask out a random woman on the street in the middle of the night.
8:15 Kent gets irritated by happy couples again, before telling us that he's working to get over being upset by couples. Clearly he's not doing a good job at it. Also, "There's water, there's fish in the water too." I would imagine so, Kent, considering last time you told us to jump into said water and get devoured by the "evil fish."
Considering Kent makes a habit of saying he can become friends with a woman, but fails at getting to go out with them, "taking it to the next level", like they're sequential parts of a stage, he was hardly ever their friend if his only goal was to sleep with them. He also makes a habit around 9:50, "I can be their quote unquote 'friend,' but when it comes to asking them out, they say no." The quoting of 'friend,' just seems to get the point across further. He makes it sound like that a man and a woman being friends isn't quite the same as a friendship between two adults of the same sex, but simply a temporary stage before they hook up.
