it was actually that, with the visual change, came a personality change....She became way too bubbly, more along the lines of Amy Rose, and the inclusion of a weapon she never needed before. They weakened her in the reboot to the point that fans who knew her personality prior to the changes couldn't stand what had been done to her. The people working on the comics seem to be filled with just as many spergs as the fanbase. You have Flynn whose an SJW, Johnathan H Gray who is responsible for a good chunk of the shipping autism in the sonic fandom, and Ken Penders who filed a lawsuit thats Maddox levels of petty

Ive been going down the Ken Penders rabbit hole. Ive been aware of this guys existence and Ive known about the lolsuit but I never payed close attention. My only experience with archie sanic was reading a few scattered issues (dont remember much except a couple issues had Omega and I liked those cuz Omegas a good boi) which and Im pretty sure most if not all of them were from Ian Flynns time. Anyways I cant believe I've been sleeping on this guy as hes a goldmine of autism. My favorite incident so far would have to be how he said he wanted to write a story about Sonic getting cucked and then went on a massive tirade about age of consent.
