So has anyone looked into his Angel Island productions company? Most of their work is pitches like that one Sonic movie pitch and a pitch for an adaptation of some other comic he did with I think Image. But he did produce a pilot episode for a web series that never got off the ground called the Republic. Ive watched it and Jesus Christ its bad. It felt like Diet Neil Breen.

Yeah, he won technically, but this is probably one of the biggest legal Pyrrhic victories I've ever seen. Nobody gives a shit about Penders and his shitty OC characters anymore, and he's pretty much destroyed any chance of ever working in the comic book industry again, where he could have at least made some money. His largest potential audience, those who read the Archie comics and remember his involvement, hate his guts because he was pretty much the singular cause of the downfall of the comics. He's destroyed any chance he ever really had being successful to claim the ownership of a bunch of characters that were only relevant when they were tied to the much more successful Sonic property, while Sega has pretty much moved on and isn't sweating him one bit. Not really a victory in the long run.

That is perhaps the most baffling aspect of the outcome of the lawsuit: He went through all that trouble to gain control of his shitty "donut steel" OCs and he did jack shit with them for over a decade. Instead of striking while the iron was hot he sat on his spoils of war and did nothing with them for so damn long that anybody that might have cared simply forgot about them and outgrew any interest for the characters. It doesn't help either that Ken art hasn't improved since his Archie days, if anything it is uglier than ever.

How on Earth does someone that necessitates to appeal to a crowd that is into anthropomorphic characters hasn't learned how to draw them in an appealing way? Instead he continues to draw hideous half-breed mutants, the cringe in those preview pages was painful to watch.

Ken just did it again by comparing sonic fans to trump supporters
And one fan told him to stop which replied in the most dumb way possible

He voted to repeal the civil rights law in California (Not kidding look up Prop 16) consider this he insulted a fan who follows him and called him a “racist trump supporter” or something similar but the fan however was not a trump supporter allegedly he is a libertarian I think that happened in 2018 or 2019
