Wait a minute, are you implying Phil isn't actually as broke as he says he is? Must have cost an arm and a leg flying someone back and forth from Michigan to Renton (3 times btw) and then fly her to come move in with him and buy her an all new wardrobe. I wonder where all that extra money came from?

Kat's exbf seems like a normal well adjusted guy. Has a job outside of the house, has videos with friends, likes to go outside, has an interest in cars, likes music, does hair tricks. All in all, can't really see any mental illness from the very little we've seen of him.
The thing that is so weird to me is that Phil is boring as fuck. There is no spontaneity in his life, Saturday is Target day, Seattle/Zoo/Arcade is only for birthdays, other than that it's wake up at 11am, stream 5 hours, "dinner', stream 2 hours, netflix/gin until 4am and repeat.
Why would you go from an incredibly normal and social guy to one of the most boring and least adjusted guys with the worst reputation on Twitch. Girls get really bored easily, if you've never been nagged about "I'm boooorrrreeeed" by a girl, you're either really exciting or you've never had a girlfriend. When girls get bored, they cheat. Watch out for that saga soon.

Her exbf has a Subaru, Phil has a Corolla. The exbf said he makes good money, however you want to interpret that.
Phil makes between $80k-120k a year, which is incredibly middle class and definitely not enough that she doesn't have to work.

I agree with this 1000%. Phil puts so much stock into his status and ego that he can't stand being 'single' even if it is a relationship with very low interaction together. He has some of that 'incel mindset' when he talked about dating in high school where he was the 'nice guy' so no one wanted to date him. His audience is full of similar incels (like Sidella).
My theory on Kat, is that she 'gold digs' as far as staying with a guy as a trophy, while he pays the entire rent, all the utilities, cell phone, car insurance, etc etc etc. She works part time and gets to save 100% of that money since the boyfriend is floating her 100%. I don't know about her previous relationship, and we can't ask the guy anymore since we :autism:'d him to delete his social media, but I have to speculate that marriage was mentioned, and she wanted to gtfo.
Phil a month ago was talking about wanting to marry Kat, keeps calling her soul mate, etc. We don't know what they talk about off camera. Could be Phil is reaching that "age" where he has to be married to show he is successful, just like with the house and the car. Maybe she is trying to plan her next escape route?

Add this to the maybe 1hr a day they see each other (when she didn't have to cook or clean) and the boring"day off" where they rarely leave the house, she's seen there are greener pastures
The only saving attraction snort can offer women is 1) accommodation and 2) money
Maybe the pig pen isn't as attractive as it once was, and the only $ she gets is from her work

I'm willing to bet that money was one of the issues, but not the only issue. According to the chat log, he said she's very odd and would act uninterested and such if she was involved in something she didn't want to be involved in. There's only so much appeasing you can do to someone to where it takes a toll on you and I'm sure her ex wasn't having it anymore. Him finding her texting Phil and plotting to jump over to WA just sped up the inevitable break up.

Yes, and having known girls like that, I'm willing to bet she doesn't even try to do anything outside of her interests. Have a good friend who was married to a girl like that, it didn't make it to the two year mark because she was just so damn controlling and basic; and the way she'd be controlling is pull out the "you don't love me" or "we don't spend enough time together" cards. Nevermind, I'd see them on World of Warcraft together all the fucking time; she didn't want to go do anything outside of her bubble, but playing WoW together didn't count as time together either.
Not saying Kat's like that exactly, but when a person turns into a sourpuss over something they don't particularly like; you can only tolerate them so long till you want them gone.

The weird thing with snort and Kat is that they apparently DO have shared interests... Video games (which was likely what brought them together...Plus she needed a house and he needed a house mother)
BUT of course as we all know DSP is socially retarded and a total ego maniac so he couldn't share any online lime light with any one, even his alleged 'sole maid'
He seems to have told her to cut all her online presence due to the 'horrible trolls' - UNLESS he can profit off it and control it

He could be buying her everything she wants, the question is how he pays for it. Does he have a surplus of cash or does he just swipe the credit card and add on to his debt? We'll probably never know, i'd bet even Kat doesn't know the answer. This is a new relationship so i'd bet Phil tells her everything is fine, and it may be true or Phil putting on a poker face.
Sort of off topic, but he did mention marriage, but only one time and it came out of nowhere. If it would actually happen though it would either be proof his debts are under control or he doesn't care about burdening Kat with his debts like he did Leanna.

Not so much needing to be married to be successful, but married simply because he's getting old enough that attractive 20-somethings aren't going to go for him unless they're true gold diggers.
