Yeah, I can't hear that either. I think people are reading too much into the clip.
To me it just sounds like Dave is clowning and Kat is being her usual flat-affect self in response because she's autistic.
 
Idk why anyone thinks Kats ever gonna leave. So long as DSP has a house, she'll be there, lol.

I think some of you are underestimating how big of a loser Kat is. She didn't even have clothes when she moved in with him... why would she ever leave a gig where she has free food and board and works maybe 15 hours a week?
 
Was this before a break? Maybe I’m assuming too much but was she just standing there listening to the stream?

He was definitely trying way too hard to ham it up and 'meme' it into a 'Darksydephil moment'. He was wishing that spilling water on himself would draw attention to him, both with his online presence and his own wife. It failed and it just made him look pathetic.

At around 15 seconds, you hear that deep kinda-thudding *woosh* that sounds the way a door would sound when it's picked up on shitty audio. But, that's just me.

Phil leads an extremely boring life so anything out of the "ordinary" like spilling water on himself is enough to get him excited and must immediately share the news with the closest person available like they should be just as excited. It's why Phil goes into painstaking, step-by-step detail whenever he tells a story about something mundane. He has to make everything seem more dramatic or important than it actually is because he does nothing interesting. In those particular moments, he's engaged in interaction with other humans so other concerns aren't on his mind. It goes to show that Phil depriving himself of family and friends has made him desperate for attention.

This seems to be inconsistent with what we have all been saying about their marriage though, that it's cold, devoid of love, warmth and/or passion etc etc.

If we're agreeing that she was just lightly teasing him, this surely changes our assumptions about the marriage.
 
Phil, as usual, having no life and nothing to be excited about ever, does something completely mundane like spilling water on himself and has to treat it like a major event.

I don't know about you, but I've yet to come across an example of Phil interacting with the people in his life in an honest manner. Not one. So it doesn't strike me as odd whatsoever, especially since Khet probably has absolutely no idea that her husband makes as much money as he does. Phil may be dumb, but I have a hard time seeing him making the mistake of trusting ANYBODY with an admission of what his income really is. In fact, if anything, Khet is the last person on Earth he wants knowing that.

I mean how else do you explain her crying over the de-partnering? Doesn't make sense to worry about that unless you're under the impression that Phil earns far less than what he still does to this day. Mind you, I don't believe his story about Khet crying, because it too perfectly fits in with his "I'm so poor" narrative, on the off chance he was dumb enough to tell her about that and she did cry over it, I would say that demonstrates her ignorance of the real situation.

i think you may be underestimating Kat, how can you be married to the pigroach and have no idea about his income? unless she goes out of her way to avoid anything phil related at all costs.
hell, her coworkers probably gossip about it. Her legal name is Mrs. Kat Burnell, people are gonna wonder who mister Burnell is. just looking up Kat or Katherine burnell would probably lead you to the goutsphere.
