Josh Duggar is in custody in Arkansas federal law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

The reality star was arrested Thursday by federal agents in Washington County, and he's being held in a detention center without bail.

We've obtained Duggar's mug shot, showing the former reality star posing with a bizarre smirk.

As we reported ... back in November 2019, Homeland Security agents were crawling around the car dealership where Duggar works in Arkansas, raiding his office in connection to a federal probe.

Josh's only current legal dispute, as far as we know, is a civil lawsuit filed against him for real estate fraud. It would appear his latest arrest is for something far more severe, though it's unclear exactly why he's been taken in.

My votes for Cheese Pizza.

Did you completly miss my response? I honestly did not think it would end up this heinous. I figured if it was this bad, he'd man up enough to accept his fate, admit he's screwed up and plead guilty.
I think this is honestly the first time I'm going to say this to someone in A&N but you are incomprehensibly stupid, beyond redemption and clearly lack any semblance of critical thinking you daft cunt.

Rate me MATI or whatever everybody but this nigga is fucking retarded.

The only redemption for the parents would be to just walk away and pretend Josh doesn't exist.
That's about the least Christian thing I've ever read. Have you even read the Bible? We don't allow sin to go unpunished, but, with his long long federal penance may come true repentance.

That's exactly what I meant. By "pretend he doesn't exist" I mean they need to accept that he is property of the correction facility and they need to stop providing for him. He is clearly going to be locked up for a few years so these 2 extra months of "freedom" make no sense. Especially since he is basically required to stay in some random stranger's house and never leave. The whole thing just makes it seem even more awkward. I don't even know how he can stomach the thought of being seen in public. I'd feel safer in jail personally. Part of me really wonders if he'll just hang himself or something.

He won't hang himself; his wife won't divorce him. Who cares about being seen in public, after having so much burden of sin on the mind and soul? He's smirking in his mugshot, mind you. Two months of freedom doesn't mean a lot until you face twenty-five years imprisonment.

Concerning your earlier quote, it reads as though you believe they should disavow Josh, as if they are to blame. (They partially are, for having had this issue come up already, and as they didn't turn their son in, or punish him on any way, it probably emboldened him, and allowed him to commit more crimes.) By your wording, Josh is meant to be shunned and cast out forever by his family for commiting these awful sins. That is not how love works, not how the penal system works, not how Christ taught us to live.

He needs to be punished by man for his acts against mankind. But that doesn't mean that his family should be suffering more or that he should be rejected by them, if he actually repents. I kind of doubt he will, but twenty-five inside will change a person in many ways. Josh has to make amends for what he has done. He is disgusting. Maybe he'll finally come closer to G-d in prison while paying his debts to society.

Damn, shit got real weird in here. I'd say some of you motherfuckers need jesus but from the looks of it less jesus is probably the proper treatment.

The only "redemption" his parents could get for this would be if they completely condemned their son for being such a disgusting piece of shit, and say that they never want anything to do with him ever again.

Them just acting like he doesn't exist without doing that beforehand would be the most spineless, cowardly, and narcissistic thing for them to do, but because they are spineless, cowardly narcissists they're gonna do just that, and probably also keep defending their special golden child no matter who he hurts, or what he does.

Anyone who is shocked by this has the intellect of a box of hair. Quiverfull is known to be ripe with abuse. Their own leader, Gothardt or whatever his name was, literally had curriculum about sexual abuse in the family that was all about blaming the victim and had a testimonial from a teen child molester blaming his baby sisters (as young as two) for "not behaving appropriately" in their dresses and his mom for having him help out with diapers (if you're wondering how I remember the details but not the name, you don't read something like "changing diapers tempted me sexually" and not have it seared into your brain permanently). And the Gothard guy got accused of multiple sexual assaults. Shocker.

I have been waiting for this since it came out that Josh molested his sisters. And yes, this is very much in part Michelle and Jim Bob's fault for fostering the environment where they continually gave Josh access to his sisters and other young girls, where they hold double standards where Josh can be around little Josie, but his evil pants-wearing sister can't be in her own childhood home without an escort (we can figure out plenty just from that), and only giving Josh "help" in the form of a work camp and mentoring by yet another Good Christian Pedophile.

Holy shit. I knew it was bad, but not that bad. Yeah.. anyone who tells others to listen to Gothard can't be trusted.
As the lone "Duggar Defender" on this site, I came back to say I really disagree with everything going on. No I'm not trying to redeem myself, and I'm not going to re-read what I wrote earlier because I already know it was stupid. I gave Josh the benefit of a doubt; maybe they had public wifi, maybe it was an accident, maybe it isn't what it seems, etc.

What I found annoying was everyone "online" seemed to know more about the Duggars than me even though I've personally "hung out" with them on a few occasions. In the past, I refused to go to sites like freeginger and duggarssnark as I figured it was just gossip. But curiosity got the best of me and I basically spent all weekend digging through there. Still thinking a lot of what I read was gossip, but then I discovered that Jill and Derrick basically "tell all" on their youtube page and twitter so spent many hours digging through that. I could write a lot about my thoughts on them, but either way, what they said was concerning. And I think the "proof" in what they say is evident in the attitudes and distancing that many of the older kids have now. But still, this did not "greatly anger" me either but I've been talking with my wife about these findings, and she is not sure what to think either.

And then, back to Josh. I can understand why Josh pleaded not guilty to his charges. I mean, pleading not guilty and getting a good lawyer can easily take many years off of your sentence if convicted. But then comes today, and after reading the charges today, the only "Christian" thing he could have done this entire time is admit he has a problem, go pro se (without a lawyer), and tell the judge to do as he sees fit. There is no point in wasting people's time with a defense when he willingly installed covenant eyes and then booted into a linux distro. (Fun story, I emailed covenant eyes when they first went public about a potential contract with me to get their software working under Xorg and wayland on linux but was told those weren't platforms on their radar). Nonetheless, this did not "greatly anger" me either (but I am greatly disappointed).

What did "greatly anger" me was Jim Bob. He went out of his way to convince some out of the loop Asian pastor out in the sticks to take in his son. And for what? So he can go to work? (he don't work) So he can what? There is no point in him being released. This whole time I've been putting my self in their shoes "what would I do", etc and the lines are blurry. But if this was my son my advice would be pro se and "see you in twenty years". There is nothing for a parent to do in this situation. To jump back onto defense, perhaps Josh lied to Jim Bob and he knew nothing of the real charges. But still, if I had made such arangments for my son and then I find out the truth in a virtual Zoom court, I would have unmuted myself and loudly reneged any accommodation.

So yes, I've seen the light. Got some thinking to do. Still not sure if I should be part of some of the "conventions" that the Duggars are guest speakers at. And no I'm not talking about "quiverfull", that is mostly limited to people over the age of 45.
I think your posts were enlightening and you did a good job humanizing the Duggars, even if it turns out you didn't know everything about them.

By your wording, Josh is meant to be shunned and cast out forever by his family for commiting these awful sins. That is not how love works, not how the penal system works, not how Christ taught us to live.

I started to agree but... there are some clearly huge lies going on here. That is what I was trying to point out earlier. If he had just "come clean" instead of pleading not guilty, perhaps the love could flow or something. But he was noted as being chipper in court, like nothing is going on. I mean yea, maybe he isn't guilty and has nothing to worry about, but I highly doubt that. I've had to cut family members off before because they wouldn't stop lying and causing drama. You can only go so far with forgiveness to someone that refuses to change.

I mean, the whole point of their show was to be an example and show the world how a strong Christian family works. I honestly liked their show back in the day. The episodes of when they had their last child and got stuck in the NICU for months was truly touching. Especially since right after that, my wife and I got stuck in the NICU as well. It was such a surreal experience and I felt like we had a true bond to a family we had never met. Honestly, seeing how they handled the NICU experience is really what helped us and got us through it. So I could see their point (or take the bait rather) when they'd remind everyone that the show was about helping and pointing others to Christ. But I don't see how the way they've handled Josh could help anyone in a similar situation. I don't know what "help" would look like in this situation, but they had two years to figure it out. And the example they are setting for people with mental issues like Josh is to just deny everything and plead not guilty. The issue at hand is not even being addressed.

Understood. But also I'd assume the harder they condemn Josh, the more it would look like they are trying to save their repuation in order to keep the show on the air making money. I'm not even sure what the right answer is.

I wish I didn't see the name of the video. I had read about it when the creator, Peter Scully was arrested in 2015. Until then people thought DD was an urban legend. Apparently, now in a Filipino prison, he is writing a tell all book.

This shit disturbs me to the core. I had blocked out my knowledge of the existence of this until today. It is not normal child porn. This video is the sexual torture of a toddler. It is unforgivable.

Whether it were my partner or my kid, this is how I feel:

I personally believe that his enablers should be forced to see what this fucker was jerking off to. That might cure them. They give him access to their children! What did Josh trade for this notorious video? Shit ain't free and from what I understand, you have to pay with cash or trade your own CP.

And let's not forget that in 2015, a porn star accused Josh of rape (refusing to stop), and choking her. She tried to sue him but got a rude awakening when she realized they just had too much power and too much money.
The woman who previously accused Josh Duggar of sexually assaulting her in March 2015 has spoken out about his arrest on child pornography charges last week, saying she was "not surprised" at the allegations against the former 19 Kids and Counting star and hoped he would go to prison for the "rest of his life."

Danica Dillon, a former adult performer who was born Ashley Johnson, spoke to Daily Mail TV Monday after Duggar turned himself into Arkansas authorities on allegations that in 2019 he "knowingly" received sexual abuse images of children under the age of 12. Duggar pleaded not guilty to the charges against him but remains in jail awaiting his July 6 trial. Dillon called the latest turn of events "disturbing" but not surprising.

"I'm not shocked by it. I'm not shocked in the least. He's been a disgusting man his entire young adult life," Dillon told the outlet. "I know who he is, millions of people have read who he is, but he's never faced any kind of repercussion, any kind of justice." Dillon previously accused Duggar of raping her in March 2015 when she was working in a Philadelphia strip club, where she alleges she was asked by Duggar to go back to his hotel room.

When she accompanied him to his room, Dillon alleges Duggar forced himself on her, wrapping his hands around his throat. She described Duggar during the alleged encounter as having "no remorse," and saying the entire assault was "terrifying." Dillon continued that she sued Duggar after the alleged encounter but quickly realized she "didn't have the income" to take on the reality TV show star's family.

In 2015, news broke that Duggar had previously been investigated for molesting five minors when he was a teenager, but did not face charges. Sisters Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and Jill (Duggar) Dillard would come forward in the aftermath of the investigation being made public to confirm they had been two of the victims, but Duggar did not face legal consequences for his actions. TLC subsequently canceled 19 Kids and Counting, moving forward with the spinoff show Counting On, which did not feature the oldest Duggar son or his wife, Anna Duggar.

Following Duggar's arrest last week, Seewald shared a joint statement with husband Ben on social media. "We are saddened to hear of the charges against Josh," they wrote. "As Christians, we stand against any form of pornography or abuse and we desire for the truth to be exposed, whatever that may be. Our prayers are with their family as they walk through this difficult time."

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, the patriarch and matriarch of the Duggar family thanked fans for their "continued prayers" in their own statement, calling the accusations against their son "very serious." "It is our prayer that the truth, no matter what it is, will come to light, and that this will all be resolved in a timely manner," they added. "We love Josh and Anna and continue to pray for their family."

His family has continuously covered for him. If they continue to enable this sadistic fuck after this they should all be investigated. I hope he doesn't make it out of jail alive.

Edit: typos.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had dome kiddie fiddling secrets of their own.
Could be. You also have to factor in that large families can be a bit clannish at the best of times. Now include their Quiverfull background and sheer numbers, and it doesn't surprise me that they'd try (and fail) to handle the issue from within the family.

Update: He's out on bail and the judge gave him permission to have "unlimited access" to his kids.

Josh Duggar Will Be Released from Prison as He Awaits Trial in Child Pornography Case

Josh Duggar will be released from jail as he faces charges for receiving and possessing child pornography.
During a virtual detention hearing on Wednesday at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, Judge Christy Comstock ruled that the former 19 Kids and Counting star will be allowed to leave the detention center where he has been held since his arrest last week.
Duggar will be released Thursday to designated third party custodians, Lacount and Maria Reber, described in court as "close friends" of the Duggar family. He will be confined to their home and monitored with GPS tracking.
The judge noted that she "cannot in good conscience" release Duggar to his pregnant wife Anna and their six children — Maryella Hope, 17 months, Mason Garrett, 3½, Meredith Grace, 5½, Marcus Anthony, 7½, Michael James, 9½, and Mackynzie Renée, 11.

However, he has been granted "unlimited contact" with his children, so long as Anna is present. Duggar may not see any other minor child, including his nieces and nephews.
"Don't make me regret this decision," the judge advised Duggar, 33, before adjourning.
Attorneys for Duggar did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. His trial is scheduled for July 6.
Earlier in the hearing, a federal probation officer, Diem Nguyen, was called as a witness and recommended to the court that Duggar not be released. The probation officer said the Rebers sometimes have minor children over for piano lessons with their adult daughter, and that both Lacount and Maria owned firearms but not a firearm safe.
"The minors that come to the home causes the probation office some concern, as well as the pistols," Nguyen said.
In her own testimony, however, Maria said they could relocate the piano lessons and remove the firearms should Duggar reside in their home. Lacount later added that the couple and their adult daughter would ensure that Duggar has no access to their phones or computers.
Duggar was arrested last week on one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. He pled not guilty the following day in court.
On Tuesday, Duggar requested that the court "release him on bail subject to a combination of conditions of release that will reasonably assure his appearance at trial and the safety of the community or any other person," according to a bond motion obtained by PEOPLE.

During Duggar's arraignment last week, it was ruled that he would not be allowed to live with minors if released on bail, but he requested in the motion that he be allowed to return home to his pregnant wife and six children.
He argued in the motion that he is demonstrably not a flight risk, citing that he has known about his federal investigation since November and that he has no previous criminal convictions.
The motion further argued that because Duggar is a public figure, it is unreasonable to view him as a flight risk: "Duggar has a widely-recognizable face and has spent the majority of his life in the public spotlight—making any concern that he is a risk of flight all the more unwarranted."
Duggar, the oldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19 kids, has faced various legal battles and controversies over the years.
In May 2015, he apologized for his "wrongdoing" following the release of a 2006 police report that revealed he had been investigated as a teen for inappropriately touching five underage girls. His sisters Jill, 29, and Jessa, 28, subsequently stepped forward as two of the victims.
If convicted of the current charges against him, Duggar could face up to 40 years in prison.

Update: He's out on bail and the judge gave him permission to have "unlimited access" to his kids.
That is horrifying. He was viewing CP with children the same age as his own and he already has committed incest against his own sisters when they were children. I don't think it's safe for his kids to be around them. I hope the feds plan on interviewing every child in their little cult and all of the adults too no matter how much his parents whine about it.

The parents should have done something about their son a long time ago. He has already raped an adult and elsewhere it said he also had adult rape porn in addition to CP.

Just the fact that he had the Scully video shows he can't ever be trusted. If there is anything on this Earth that is of Satan then is that. Anyone who defends him can't claim to follow Christ. Jesus has some very specific words about what should happen to those who hurt innocent children.

Wait wait wait, what? Where does it say he was jacking it to Daisy's destruction? That's some infamous hurtcore and adds another level of horrifying to this story. Here's a description of DD from Wikipedia:
The most notorious video Scully produced was Daisy's Destruction, which he sold on his site to clients for up to $10,000.[3] Made in 2012, the multi-part video is so extreme that it was for some time regarded as an urban legend.[6] It features the torture and brutal rape of a number of girls by Scully and some Filipina accomplices; the three main victims were Liza (aged 12), Cindy (11) and Daisy (18 months).[7] Urged on by Scully, some of the most severe physical abuse was carried out on the children by one of his girlfriends, then 19-year-old Liezyl Margallo, who was formerly prostituted as a child.[8] In the video, Margallo victimizes Daisy.[9]

Prior to the video gaining attention by the general public, Scully broadcast Daisy's Destruction privately on a pay-per-view basis. Matthew Graham, with access to the video, eventually publicized it some time after its production.[10] Due to the content, it quickly garnered attention by law enforcement and media alike. The Dutch National Child Exploitation Team was the first to open an investigation with the goal of locating the victims. Subsequently, an international manhunt for those responsible for the video's production was launched. Scully was eventually tracked to Malaybalay City in the Philippines and arrested on 20 February 2015. Investigators had six warrants for his arrest,[9] all relating to the abduction and sexual abuse of the two cousins.[3][failed verification] While they searched for Scully in the Philippines, investigators managed to uncover the fates of the three primary victims in Daisy's Destruction. Liza was found to be alive as was Daisy, though her treatment had been so vicious that she has lasting physical injuries. Eleven-year-old Cindy had been murdered, allegedly by Scully.[9] Before being strangled to death with a rope, the girl was subjected to bouts of rape and torture and was made to dig her own grave. According to Margallo, Scully videotaped himself killing Cindy.[9]
This man shouldn't be anywhere near children.

I've been sitting here for five minutes trying to think of a creative way of saying how much I hate this bastard without A-logging. If that indeed was DD, I hope he burns forever. The mere thought of it makes me physically ill.
