Josh Duggar is in custody in Arkansas federal law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

The reality star was arrested Thursday by federal agents in Washington County, and he's being held in a detention center without bail.

We've obtained Duggar's mug shot, showing the former reality star posing with a bizarre smirk.

As we reported ... back in November 2019, Homeland Security agents were crawling around the car dealership where Duggar works in Arkansas, raiding his office in connection to a federal probe.

Josh's only current legal dispute, as far as we know, is a civil lawsuit filed against him for real estate fraud. It would appear his latest arrest is for something far more severe, though it's unclear exactly why he's been taken in.

My votes for Cheese Pizza.

Not just statistically, but apparently, physiologically also.
The farther down in the birth order a male is, the more likely to be gay, some pretty good studies are indicating.
It has something to do with the pregnant women not being able to produce the "testosterone flood" that is necessary during gestation of a male fetus to lock in male gender norms.

Edit to clarify. The birth order of males only. If you are the fourth boy born, bad benoochy. If you are the fourth child born, but the first boy. A-okay,
I've read it stated that it might only be the case for one in seven gay males, at the most. I've known plenty of gay guys who were the oldest son or didn't have any brothers at all. So, it doesn't do a great job at explaining why most gay males are gay.

They are part of Quiverfull, a fundie organization dedicated to making as many babies as possible to act as soldiers for Jesus. They follow books like Train Up A Child, which advocate beating infants with sticks and allowing them to cry even when in distress.
Just a minor correction, quiverfull isn't an organization but a loosely organized fundie lifestyle/political movement. I think they do belong to a specific church though, iirc the leader of which is also a kiddie diddler. It's the church the get their homeschool shit from.

This is a long time coming and likely only the tip of the iceberg in terms of fucked up shit the Duggars have gotten up to. Wouldn't be surprised if he's not the only sex pest in the family. Sexual violence is rampant amongst fundies and rarely do they handle it appropriately.

I really hope Anna gets a divorce but I won't be surprised if she sticks with him because fundies think a woman getting a divorce is worse than a dude diddling kids. Shit, Jim Bob and Michelle apparently banned Jill from visiting because she wanted her fair share of the TLC money, wears pants, got a nose piercing, and went to actual therapy for the fucked up shit that's happened to her. One of Josh's victims gets treated worse for wearing pants as a woman than a sexual predator.

Fundie family with 19 kids. Thankfully no. 20 was miscarried halfway through. But they went ahead and adopted a 20th anyway.

Josh is the eldest son and had previously confessed to molesting several of his sisters. Nothing was really done about it and he received Christian "counseling" from a police officer who himself is a pedo. Pedophilia is rampant in the fundie community and it is swept under the rug a lot.

Dad Jim Bob Duggar should be looked into too. His insane control over his daughters is par for the fundie course. But if Josh is a pedo and started molesting his sisters when he was still a child himself he may have learned it from dear old dad. Jim Bob must be fuming that some of his daughters have cut their hair and started wearing pants as soon as they were married.

There are also rumors one of the sons (Josiah I think) is gay and was sent to Jesus Camp for conversion under the guise that he was doing mission work. They married him off right quick after his little sabbatical too. Jana is unmarried despite being very pretty and the eldest daughter. In fundie terms she'd be a spinster by now. She's over 30. Rumors abound she's a lesbian and has a female "friend". She's been seen wearing a ring too. But there's no engagement. Since she's the primary babysitter her parents probably don't want to rock the boat and lose their free child care.

Apparently she has a courtship going on now. But who knows. She may have just caved and downed the Kool Aid in one shot to keep the peace.

Statistically somebody's gotta be gay though. But they will probably be living a lie until the day they go to Jesus.

This pedo news is to the surprise of no one. Josh is a major creep who cheated and has a porn addiction. There's a lot of neices and nephews that I hope are questioned if the police actually do their job. This guy has access to so many kids just by virtue of being from a fundie family.
So, pretty much the typical Muslim family, just with a lavender marriage instead of stoning. Got it.

People seem to nitpick the quiverfull movement which I find weird as the catholic church has always been against any kind of birth control, even abstinence (which is birth control). But in typical catholic fashion, all those that attend think just going to mas once in awhile and putting a few bucks in the plate is "good enough" and they ignore all the doctrine. I don't believe in birth control either, but my wife has medical issues and can't really get pregnant so I feel it would be awkward for me to go around preaching against birth control given my situation. I some times think how different my life would be if I had 10+ kids. Hard to say whether it would be "better" or "worse", but these fundamental religious groups see life as one following the commands of God no matter what the inconvenience. For me, that is a tough pill to swallow even though I agree with it.

I'll try to not power level, but I have met the Duggars on a few occasions at the multiple home schooler's conferences they attended every year. I can say their family is the same off the show as on the show and that has always impressed me. I find their family genuine and honestly a good role model in general. The internet seems to root for their entire destruction continually and I find that disgusting. There are a heck of a lot worse parents out there, us kiwis know that (just look at any BLM thread for examples). There are plenty of kids out there that grow up to trash talk their fudie parents, but so far, the Duggar kids are not amongst that group, and I think that says a lot (in that they aren't being "abused" as everyone states).

The situation with Josh is certainly unfortunate but the harder I try to condemn him, the more I see myself in different light. From what I remember, Josh was "accidentally" touching his sister's butts and sometimes touching on them while they slept. What impressed me was he actually told on himself. I mean, every night his parents would pray with him and ask if there were any unconfessed sins that he needed to admit to. And this act burned his conscious until he told on himself. I don't think I could have done that, I'm a coward and would rather ignore my guilt and let it manifest into some kind of mental disorder like every other spineless American. I played some really heinous acts of "tuth or dare" with my cousins at a sleepover at my grandma's before, and briefly tried to spy on my step-sister in the rest room. Perhaps none of these are "Josh level", but my parents could still have taken me to the police department and had a report filled out (which is what the Duggar parents did). If it was my son that was touching my daughter and he admitted it to me, I'm really not sure what I would do. I don't think I'd have a police report made just so some tabloid can get access to it though. Perhaps I'd just sit him in front of google and type in "Josh Duggar" and tell him to start reading as punishment. But that would probably just convince one to never tell the truth and always deny everything, because if Josh did that initially as a teenager, he would have probably fared better.

Of course having a computer full of cheese pizza is another matter. But there is a big difference between downloading the 20gb of leaked facebook private photos off of bit torrent which would contain no telling what, and actual predatory behavior. And that is as far as my defense can go on that matter.

Edit: alright, I'll admit it, this was a stupid post on my part.

The poster in the other thread was right, people would show up to defend these lunatics.
where are you seeing posts defending this chucklefuck? It seems to me like everybody here pretty much called it from the second they saw the report he was arrested that he would catch a CP charge.

Edit: lol literally the post above you. Guess that'll teach me for skipping over massively autistic walls of text.

And this, folks, is a great post of why Quiverfull is a fucking cult. I cannot believe you're actually defending this with a wall of TL;DR bullshit. Good god.

Nigga did you really just call a family that has been defending and covering for their chomo son while treating his victims like shit for years good role models? And beyond that yes, they do abuse their kids, they openly admit to it. The subscribe to the To Train Up a Child horseshit that involves constantly physically and psychologically abusing your kids (for jesus).

Also I don't normally give a fuck about internet stickers but this is one thread where I am eyeballing the fuck out of anyone who gives me neg reacts.

Bruh, I'm of the remnant of the Christian Right, and defending the Duggars at this point looks really skeezy.

Watch what they do, not what they say. "By their fruits, you shall know them".

There's nothing wrong with having big Christian families or disciplining your kids, but the Duggars are NOT a good example of it.

You didn't need to tell us the details of your degeneracy, showing up to the thread to whiteknight for a pedo cult was enough.

The shitty thing about all this is that apparently the one daughter (Jill I think?) has been ostracized by a lot of the family just because she decided to wear jeans and send her kids to a regular school, and yet they let that fat fuck diddler son of theirs roam free among all the grandkids without supervision BECAUSE JEEBUS. Even shittier that it was one of the girls that he molested. Shittier yet that the girls “had to forgive” him for molesting them and publicly defend him BECAUSE JEEBUS. Adding yet more to the shit, the girls were implicitly blamed for it because they could “defraud” their brothers by existing, whatever the hell that means. Fuck these pieces of shit, for real. 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩

If these fuckers actually read their Bibles they’d see that Jesus condemned those who brought harm to kids. Something about a millstone and the sea. Again, fuck these assholes for using religion to let a pedo have free access to innocent kids.

Given the people involved is Homeland Security and ICAC, if he gets a bail at ALL will be a hell of a thing. They've been at this porker since 2019 and I'd put money on the sting at his workplace having been where he was sending/receiving the cheese pizza.
LOL, it's a 15 year mando. Possibly 35 if he was involved in production. He won't be getting out for a long time.

Oh, is it fifteen? What I was reading said it was a 20 year at minimum. I can't keep up anymore, but whatever it is, he's gonna be doing a HELL of a lot of time. Especially if it's worthy of making a public notice of.

I can't believe a woman would wear jeans and not use Bob Jones books for science class. Exile the whore!

Don't be mad at Josh. He was just having a heated moment of teenaged hormones and accidentally fingerbanged his sister. You know how crazy teenaged boys are with their sisters.
:story: I really hope the sarcasm here is as bright as a neon sign.

Well he’s living with his wife and litter of kids in a warehouse on their property so...
(It’s like some weird metal prefab building they turned into a “guest house”)

He has like four daughters under the age of 12 in that guest house he’s living in so Ma and Pa Duggar are going to have to spring for a efficiency apartment or hut for him to shack up in until his trial.

The feds knowing the public profile of this family and the publicity what would result from his arrest must have an airtight case. They wouldn’t risk arresting him unless they had rock solid proof.
Living in a metal shed in your parents back yard is as neckbeardy as living in the actual basement. No wonder he got caught with CP. If he couldn't afford a residence yet, he had no business making even 1 baby. I can't wrap my head around it. If you're living in a sheet metal shack with kid #1, it's never going to get any better.

Maybe I just don't appreciate favela style living.

The Catholic Church allows abstinence and the rhythm method for birth control.

And the kids don't sass the parents because they get the shit beat out of them.
Give me all the top hats, but hearing about "blanket training" enrages me.
Someone needs to blanket train Michelle and Jim-Boob for what they've done to these children.

Well he had a reality show paycheck and then a sweet bullshit lobbying gig at “Focus on the Family” the first three years of his breeding extravaganza but then he lost that thanks to molesting his sisters and cheating on his wife with hookers. So he had to give up on the big old McMansion he was building. He got involved in some real estate scam, then a used car lot which got raided in 2019. Sometime inbetween the real estate scam and the car lot closure he ended up in the guest shack.

Three days ago when his wife announced baby #7 the response was like “how the fuck can you afford seven kids, your husband doesn’t even have a job ffs.”

True, the Catholic Church only opposes “artificial” means of birth control. Rhythm and abstinence are totally fine. Not to mention plenty of not so strict Catholics use birth control. You might still occasionally see a big Catholic family of 5 or 6 kids, but it’s got nothing on the 10-15 the quiverfull nuts aim for.

Blanket training is awful but I think it’s the ugly reality of having too many children you cannot adequately care for AND your goal is to instill fearful obedience to parents ASAP.
