No,because that post isn't from the real Joseph Strickland. Some dumb kid thinks he's some meme lord and is trying to gain fame from the situation.

No he's not in jail,but I won't say much because I'm trying to see if I can get any more information from the guy . Maybe the article was strikingly coincidental and he didn't do it or he's on some type of bail. It's all I can tell you at this time.

I can only assume that they have evidence{The Pics and or Videos that he downloaded} to use against him. And usually in cases like this, the accused enters a guilty plea to get a reduced punishment because they know they're pretty much going down in a trial.

So I have a feeling that the fact that The Beast has autism is gonna come into play, and they'll try to use that to get him off. Because clearly his brain isn't fully developed. Just based on his videos, you can see that.

I doubt bringing up the fact he's autistic will do much good. Autistics can tell right from wrong. He's gonna end up doing some time.

I don't think it'll work in this case either. I was just giving my thoughts on why they entered this plea. Especially considering the crime.

I read an article about a Florida man, ironically 24 years of age and autistic, facing the same charges. And the article was about how he shouldn't be tried. This guy apparently has the intellect of someone around 10-12 Year Old, and an IQ 73. Which is the range of “borderline impaired”.

Now based on Josephs videos, he seems pretty aware about what he's doing when it makes them. But at the same time, you can tell his brain isn't fully developed.

I can't see it getting him off in this situation. Don't be surprised if down the road, we see him change his plea for a lesser sentence
 
Autism and mental retardation are two different things. If he's intellectually impaired, the defense could argue he's too stupid to know what he was doing was a crime. But I doubt that's the case. He knew what he was doing was wrong and he's probably going do at least a little time.

Yes. And it explains lots of things about him.

His lack of communication skills, his many random pauses when he speaks, his inability to see anything from any other perspective besides his own, and the fact that he's insanely repetitive in his videos.

And it's not just in his videos he's repetitive, he's made videos on the same exact topics, and just says things he's said in other videos. The only thing that changes is what he's wearing.

That's him. I actually spoke to the guy behind the parody channel a couple months ago. I didn't think Joseph would be dumb enough to use his real name on his twitter page. So it was only a matter of time before someone found him.

He hasn't tweeted about Women yet, but he's tweeted about Swag, Baggy Clothes, and "Old School" Rap. He seems to rarely tweet though. I wonder if he has limited Internet Access because of his legal troubles.

Something else I wanted to share, a YouTuber named chickinpoofy who happens to live near him, took these earlier this year. According to the YouTuber, he just walks around randomly almost everyday, and he just raps to himself.

Something I just heard today from the guy behind the parody channel, apparently people were wondering if the Joseph in the Cape Brenton Post article is indeed Joseph8276. Which I'll admit, at times I wondered about. Because in reality, you never know until all information is avaliable. And the site didn't give a pic or anything like that. Well the person behind the channel, has 100% confirmed that Josephs middle name is indeed "Edward". Which is the middle name given in the article.

So just in case anyone on here was wondering, there's absolutely no doubting it anymore. Joseph8276 is the person in the article.

UPDATE:
The first Image is the first actual image of himself that's he's uploaded to his Twitter.
The second image in my eyes, demonstrates indeed how lonely/delusional this guy really is.

Do I feel bad for him? Considering what he's done, and how he is in his videos, Not Really.

I can't get past how unhealthy and unwell he looks in that photo where he's holding up the Crystal Pepsi.
 
It's been a while but I really couldn't get anymore information other than he is Bi-Sexual. But he said that he has to maintain that he's straight because and I quote "I have to act straight because of being a baller and what not". But other than this,there's really nothing to look for.
 
Something interesting happened about 2 weeks ago.

After episode #285 of the Drunken Peasants, in which a video of the beast was watched, someone revealed his twitter account to the person running the DP Wiki twitter page. https://twitter.com/TheDPWiki/status/788227612170739712

Naturally, this resulted in many DP fans going over to fuck with the beast. People mocking him for things he's said in his videos, and some actually mentioning the charges against him. All the beast really did was whine & block people. But he hasn't posted anything on twitter since.

This past week was supposed to be the start of his trail. But no articles updating on it have been found yet. And nothing was ever found saying that the trial was moved or dismissed. But, on the DP subreddit, The Amazing Atheist said that he heard a rumor that this whole Child Porn thing was about drawings. And that the beast didn't have actual CP. To be clear, this is just a rumor. NOTHING is confirmed. Now with that being said, it would explain the Not Guilty plea that was taken. But I'm mainly skeptical of this rumor because considering how slow the beast is, I'd think they'd let him off if this was really just about some drawings. I've read articles about autistic people who've download actual CP, but later had the charges dismissed because of the persons mental state.

It was a "He didn't know what he was doing" thing.
