Been a bit since I've posted in this thread, being seeing the reemergence of Peterson after the Benzo withdrawals is actually pretty nice. Took some time and started getting caught up on some of his new content, and something that I've noticed is that he is indeed not looking like he is in the best of health all things considered. Also a noticable stutter in his words and the more than usual gaps in phrasing.
Though, he does look marginally better than the infamous RC car video for sure. I would have to say that despite some of the seething in the thread about the grifting nature of Peterson, realistically you don't have to buy any of his books to get a semblance of the thousands of hours of content he has posted for free.
I would have to say that a lot of his analysis in regards of the modern day dilemma of the demasculization of men, as well the lack of proper role models has a lot of weight to it. The man has his flaws and realistically I wasn't surprised that he had Benzo addiction. Seems to me that he indeed had a history of impulsive substance abuse, especially when he refences some of his days as a Canadian youth. Though the Russia solution probably could account for the adverse reactions he is experiencing to the current day, but also the misguided nature of the prescription of some of these medications.
I hope he manages to make his story and experience more prolific to the masses because I think that it could add some very valuable insights to the millions of people effected by the drug epidemic and the failure of Western civilization to address the deeply rooted psychological issues. As well, he might be able to make a cross reference to how maybe in his training when the over prescription of these things became such an issue.
It maybe conjecture but I definitely do not think the amount of notaraoty was something that Peterson necessarily wanted, especially in regards on how the MSM and radicalized political factions try to exaggerate and totally completely miss the point of the ideas that he demonstrates. Peterson is indeed a thinker and I wouldn't say that he doesn't have intellectually captivating material that wouldn't transcend the current political paradigm. He is one of those figures that despite his flaws, at least he is honest with them, and has been transparent about his journey with his own subset of issues.
Peterson has a incredibly busy and fascinating mind, so I can give the guy a pass on having some closeted issues. Before the great outrage of 2016, he was a relatively unknown Canadian professor. I couldn't imagine getting propelled under the microscope of millions of people in such an explosive and polarizing time, especially if with my own issues. It's also pretty fascinating on he described the parallel of his second book to being the other half of the antidote in the first book being his approach to the social issues that concern Conservatism, that his second book being his approach to issues of Liberalism. Hence the order and chaos theme he has a crossed his lectures.
I'm glad that he has managed to climb out of the spiral of bullshit and has some of his energy back. In regards of his daughters lolcowish escapades, I will have to say that the happenings on her end using her Dad's notoriety to gain influence should be speculated on. The codependent relationship is something that makes me curious, but also the engrained faith in the big pharma solution can also address the fucking disaster known as the Canadian Health Care system. I would hope that professor Peterson focuses on the issues at home in that regard. Perhaps he can make this next lap a little less about the Troon faggots that are just looking for attention and outrage, but focus on the deeply engrained social issues of these type of blindfolded faith in the Science TM. In these times of the transition of the mind altering big pharma solution, to the expiremental vaccines. It could make for a good arc.
Or he could grift on the penis washing books, either way...
