Haha, I suppose I should have expected that we're dealing with the equivalent of the too-cool-for-school teenager here.

There is a reaction for cope — Null has graced us with the "Mad at the Internet" sticker. The hat is a particularly eloquent representation of your kind. I can practically smell your fedora, unwashed beard and smelly benis. Clean your room!
Bruh the man isnt into cults of personality. He'd probably say joshing him humanizes him and helps maintain perspective

Clean your mind

Can't believe no one posted his unhinged tiktoks. A man his age should not be making tiktoks.

Jordan Peterson returns to Tiktok - Professor Jordan Peterson makes second Tik Tok post #shorts.mp4

And if you didn't pick up on his message, he's listing a bunch of great minds of our time and their vices/addictions, as if he's on the same level as them. All while being dressed as some sort of mime or spaghetti man.

This was probably his daughters idea. They're trying to ''fish'' on yet another platform for misguided male youths to buy tickets to his seminars. The thing is, I don't think the Gen Z teens will be having any of this shit. This will look like an escaped Alzheimer's patient to them and they'll laugh it off.

Once rehabilitated he should've just cashed out and spent some happy golden years with his family. Since he didn't I guess it's time to follow him on tiktok.

Edited for stupid.

I just remembered that Peterson once argued that prevalence of disease makes people more socially conservative, because social conservatism is an attempt to root out disease both literal and figurative. It's hilarious in hindsight, now that Corona-chan has advanced the progressive agenda faster than any point in human history, with the possible exception of the French Revolution.

I guess he didn't see the perfect storm of lockdowns, media bias and the Summer of Floyd coming, did he? Though we did end up getting more authoritarian so there's that.

Edit: Too hyperbolic

I guess he didn't see the prospect of the lockdowns effectively transforming the entire Western world into a re-education camp due to the woke stranglehold on social & TV media coming, did he?
Over the course of the lockdown, I haven't actually seen many people at all actually change their political view- they just got more radical (this site's userbase included).

going back to normal
There is only a going back to a "new normal".

I thought it was rather convincing and am not convinced corona is a counterargument. After all people's emotion in going along with the progressive agenda is not disgust or orderliness, but fear of outbreak and faith in scientists.

It's not exactly the same thing.

In what country? those that are socially conservative have gotten more unhinged during the pandemic. Especially older people who demonstrate the poorest mask compliance. I see no evidence of a UBI coming to Canada, if anything the Boomers (who are the largest voting block here) have become angrier over such an idea. Maybe such things are occurring down in the USA but not here. .

That could be the main effect, since people already invested in their echo chambers won't be swayed much by algorithm manipulation (and will double down when they notice it), so I'm just seeing progressives getting more radical and being driven to use their positions of power (the ones that have them) to throw their weight around more, and righties getting angrier about it. Every second thing on LinkedIn now is about racism or sexism and the FB feed is about 50% communist propaganda (and I live in a small city in ON), and the flurry of iconoclastic name changes continues on.

Though it probably says something that none of my examples involve things of substance. Maybe everyone's so terminally online now that the politically active among them feel the need to virtue signal to their own side as much as your average Twitter leftist.

They're tired of propaganda and "trusting the science" (which means doing what the kikes on the news say). No one who doesn't wear a mask believes they don't work (loons excluded). The real loons are the people who would without question stick a banana up their ass and hold it all day because the news says it would prevent covid. In 50 years when all the children are wearing electronic tracking devices 24/7 you'll probably be the loon who isn't trusting the science, "it makes people safer".

God bless the people who fight against the government taking more control over everyone by giving every man and woman the gibs. Making people slaves to government assistance is not doing them any favors, it only helps to make them more useless to themselves and to society. Take a look at black americans and you'll have all the evidence you need.

Canada lacks African Americans which is why gib culture never took off.

Which brings me back to the points I tried to make in this thread before.

Peterson just can't understand what it's like to live in a country with nearly 50 million blacks. Many programs in the American safety net is built to serve them. Much of his advice and attitude comes from living in a predominately white country with selective immigration where the threat of nigger riots is close to zero.

We have First Nations though, who do the same thing but with different (and arguably better) justifications. Unlike blacks they have their own "nations" and are primarily rural, so when they riot our transportation system is fucked, and since romanticised depictions of them form the original seed of the far-left mentality they can always count on allies to make up for their smaller numbers.

First nations are so few in number in Ontario Metro's I honestly didn't believe they existed until I started reading about the trouble they cause in cities like Winnipeg and Edmonton (mostly out west). But here in Ontario they live largely on reserves, never seen or heard from or in Northern parts of the province. They're still nothing like U.S blacks lol. We've had nothing like the Ferguson, Baltimore or Minneapolis riots here. Even the Trump administration couldn't stop or pacify a nigger riot.

I think it's just that it's better PR to let them destroy their own neighborhoods than use force to prevent them from destroying their own neighborhoods.

It's not that hard to disperse riots with force, it's just that every step has to be considered from how it looks.

I really do wonder whether going back to normal will deradicalize people.
That assumes the Elites in power want things to get back to normal. Biden and the Democrats absolutely do not want things to get back to normal. They will push these restrictions as long as they can, and it will radicalize people people further against wearing masks, or for wearing masks. Personally, I'm more scared of those that are for more government restrictions.

Well, it is kind of the same thing. People are treating other's as if they are contagions. And their faith in scientists is only because they believe scientists can create order. And Leftists are more than happy to exploit that. "Science" is the new religion. Listen to how Biden and Harris and all the other Democrats talk about "Science", and replace it with "God". They treat it as an infallible truth that will bring about a perfect world. That is not how science works, and it's especially concerning when it's used to back government agendas.

Whoever's writing the Captain America comic should do a story where the Red Skull gets addicted to benzos due to his all-meat diet and has his whore daughter take him to Russia for a detox.

Just my two cents.
