I notice a trend that people who would otherwise be bashed for being retarded are expected to be given a free pass if they're "good soldiers in the Culture War". At best they try to casually paint it as an 'enemy of my enemy' thing, but there's a pretty common trend of trying to get people to lay off of people if they're perceived as important assets in fighting SJWs.

It's funny because if it wasn't, well, socialist, I think Peterson would be all over socialist realism. It has everything he likes in myths but instead of referring to an ideal past it refers to an ideal future (an utopia), I think you could very well make a case that the function is similar and find many of his beloved archetypes in there, although you can find those everywhere you want to find them.

But it's socialist, so it's icky :O
