We are not gonna fix this, not with restrictions. Humanity is inherently expansionist, resources should instead be used towards R&D, innovation. Only new technologies improved life for us, never government interventions.
Of course, tech comes with its own severe downsides, as we all know from Uncle Ted, but we have no alternative.
Government restrictions are cynical propaganda ops IMO, we've all seen how responsible they are, going to fuck while others are on lockdown and the sort. These people don't care, they consider us expendable biomass that only serves a working drone purpose, they want us pacified and numb from drugs, fat, desperate and near suicidal, prone to manipulation.
We should keep marching forward, if we fail, we fail, nothing lasts forever, and our species had a decent riot here anyway.
 
Just saw the secular talk interview. Are we sure JP doesn't have early onset dementia? after watching that it certainly seems like it. Not only does he seem unreasonable and angry but extremely confused and repetitive. This is a major deterioration from one of his ''debates'' with a British woman over the wage gap back years ago. Back then he was able to create defensive arguments and now he no longer has this ability at all.

Watching that was like watching a young doctor keep his patience during a long shift dealing with a belligerent Dementia patient in the E.R.

I think it could be a combo of past benzo abuse plus the coma brain damage. Dementia is a real possibility IMO. He's a lot less articulate than he was. The same kind of lulzy speech like "up your's woke moralists" is also in his climate change video. Something about when he speaks like this comes off as abnormal, but I'm not a memory care professional or speech language pathologist.

I'm just tired of every asshole so self absorbed thinking this is gonna be the last generation that we're so important we'll ruin the earth forever. It isn't that dire but if we all just decided it's too late of course things will get worse.

Things WILL get worse.
Things getting worse is nothing special and has happened numerous times in history.
There's a near world war, the repercussions of a pandemic, and heavy associated economic downfall.
Don't expect miracles. I'm not fatalist, I'm simply observing happenings, which will affect me too. I'm smart enough to understand that going in a flailing panic tantrum won't change anything. Nothing short of a mass revolutionary movement, in the West, can bring change, and the Westerners are insanely pacified, morbidly obese, plagued with neurological illness and dysfunction and polarized.
