Calling things cringe and dismissing them without understanding them is incredibly cringe.
I didn't want to OT the thread. Anthropogenic climate change is pretty much undeniable. It doesn't mean the solutions governments propose are always right. Like EVs and solar seem pretty shite to me.

You're both wrong. The real takeaway is that we as a species have developed so much we have the capability to fuck over a whole planet if we wanted to.

Goes full climate denier retard in his recently posted video. I get conservatives are against gov spending but denying that climate change is a thing is incredibly cringe.

Nobody denies that climates change. Republicans are against the notion that the climate change is a direct result of our behavior and not just a naturally occurring phenomenon. They are also opposed to the idea that higher taxes and "green" initiatives are solutions to these problems.

That is denial of anthropogenic climate change which is the same thing. How could so much excess carbon not create a greenhouse effect? It violates the laws of physics.

That's a reasonable position. A lot of the things proposed by these initiatives are retarded.

How does excessive carbon even hurt anything should all just fly off and outer space if there's too much you're talking as if there's like a glass dome over the whole world that's keeping us a little trapped in here that's the only reason that's the only way that anyway any of these gases would even stay inside of the atmosphere is if it was a ball you know like a dome something like a firmament right that's the only time you're getting your greenhouse effect like what the hell is a greenhouse even it's not even green it's f****** clear clear glass think about it

Quick question for the thread: does his daughter has an OnlyFans?

Nope, I think she uses Instagram/Tiktok in addition to her website where she posts her "podcasts" that center around lifestyle advice and solving mental health problems through diet.

I had no idea she had gotten married again.

He has been on carnivore diet, apparently.

If he's anywhere near the Shapiroverse, then he's a neocon. American exceptionalist, fierce anti-Iran and Venezuela, anti-Islam, anti-"urban" youth/violence, and non-stop talk of free markets.

Neoconservative is interchangeable with neoliberal, anyway, as they only differ on culture issues. And yes, voters dropped them like a hot potato.

He has the same corporate sugar daddy as Benny Shapino.

Daily Wire signs Jordan Peterson to podcast deal

someone probably already posted this on here before but regardless if someone has or not this is a good video nonetheless

climate change is a completely natural phenomenon, from ice ages to medieval warm periods, to the great famine, the climate naturally shifts and changes, for example:

Long before the bitter cold winters and drenching rains of the early 14th century announced the end of the Medieval Warm Period (MWP), Europe had expanded dangerously close to the limits of its resources. Four centuries of unusually mild temperatures (the highest in 8,000 years), prompted the continent’s farmers to plant crops on vast quantities of land previously unsuitable for agriculture; the increased food supply in turn fueled a population explosion that tripled the number of people in medieval Europe.

To 21st-century skeptics who cite the initially beneficent effects of the MWP as proof that global warming is no big deal, Rosen responds by pointing out that the MWP was “a Northern Hemisphere phenomenon … there is still little evidence that worldwide temperatures were, on average, warmer than today.” Moreover, the growth fueled by the MWP proved to be unsustainable.

More and more marginal land was producing a larger and larger percentage of Europe’s food. When those marginal lands ceased to produce due to frosts and floods, the millions of extra mouths to be fed remained. Rebellions and civil wars exacerbated the impact of an unprecedented quarter-century of terrible weather and deadly livestock diseases. Two consecutive harvest failures in 1314 and 1315 launched seven years of famine, resulting in the deaths of between 5 and 12 percent of the population of northern Europe.

It's not caused by cow farts or people not paying enough money in taxes. The climate will always fluctuate, just because people got used to certain temperatures and seasons doesnt mean the planet was always these exact temperature. In fact the changes we're seeing now are miniscule in comparison to even a few hundred years ago when much more dramatic climate change caused famine, and that was nothing in comparison to the level of change needed to shift into or out of an ice age.

But go ahead, time your showers, pay your carbon tax, and eat bugs. I'm sure that will change the weather this time lol.

I said anthropogenic climate change, not climate change in general. I mean the kind of climate change caused by human activity. I can see being against inefficient government programs meant to combat climate change and being against increased taxation on principle as a conservative. But denying the damage humans have done to this planet is madness. The scientific evidence is overwhelming.
Jordan has lost a lot of brain cells to read a corporate script from the oil barons funding the Daily Wire. He can't think critically anymore and is less nuanced than ever.

There should be a thread on his hoe of a daughter
I totally agree. Where this Jordan came from? It appears as if he came out of nowhere. Granted, I don't really follow Mikhaila, but it's strange to me that I never heard about him until they got married. Good luck, Mikhaila! I think her new husband gives me a bit gay vibes, but maybe he is really a naïve Cpt. SaveAHo, also her wedding dress is way too slutty for my taste.

I think it's very reasonable to claim that humans and industrialization have an impact on climate. The debate is how much, in comparison with things we cannot control, like the Sun and various Earth processes.
Also, if governments are unable to promote any reasonable solutions, and if all their solutions are targeted NOT against the rich, the elites or industry giants, but against farmers and meat-eating normies, I would say that we should be VERY suspicious.
Every single climate intervention should be publicly be implemented against the top 0.1% or so. Farming is bad? Expropriate all land that Bill Gates has bought, so he can't use it for farming. Flying planes is bad? Expropriate Kardashians first. Then Elon Musk, because I am impartial.
Everything should be hitting hard on the elites, or I will oppose it.

I think the majority of modern global warming is caused by humans but I agree with you. A lot of the "solutions" offered by governments seem like bullshit. Like banning plastic straws and making people use soggy cardboard ones. Or wasting money on solar panels made with dirty rare earth minerals.
My grandparents were big Tories who donated to environmental causes but they didn't support many government environmental programs bc of their history of fucking it up, wasting money, inefficiencies etc.
