Still, you are arguably right that the vast majority of modern Russian culture is inferior to anything being made during the Tsarist and Soviet periods... but that's a problem all over Eastern Europe; it's not exclusively Russian.

The fashy fash boys generally aren't posting about how they admire, say, Martin Niemöller or Sophie Scholl. They're just outright Nazis. Peterson's an anti-Communist at heart.
 
Peterson has officially forgotten everything he knew.

He's literally said in the past, repeatedly:
  • People like to watch thoughts form
  • People are suspicious of highly produced content
So what does he do?
  • He reads from a script
  • He records in expensive locations/studios with expensive cameras, complete with a crew
He knows this content is garbage.

It's clear as fucking day he pulled this Twitter stunt just to get eyes on this "relaunch" of his content with its higher production values, and it's all god-awful. And it's a crying fucking shame because Canadians more than ever need him right now, because our charter of rights and freedoms literally means nothing at this point.

All these fucks like Viva Frei fucking abandon ship and don't give two fucks about Canada.

In some sense Canada is a country not unlike the United States before independence. There will come a time when Canadians will truly have to fight for the same freedoms and rights Americans have, until then the Federal government is going to continue to step on the average citizen, and when the fight really matters it's faggots like Peterson and Frei who run first with their briefcase of cash.

There isn't a public figure left in Canada that isn't just a stereotype of the meme we all know.

When the time comes again it will be the same, it will be the farmers/truckers/working-class that make the sacrifice and these faggots will be in their cushy mansions in the US pretending like they are down there on the front lines, when in reality they are risking nothing.

I liked Peterson, but he is now simply a creature with a hooked nose, like all the other Canadian public figures.

Really though, you're not wrong. Peterson has seemingly gone the same way as James Lindsay. Their crumbling twitter addictions and emotional instability has lead them to becoming fucking dumb and incapable of being a vehicle for any meaningful discussions anymore at the scale they likely could have been at. Peterson going against some bigger things pre-coma him said (people don't trust highly produced shit, the need for precision in one's speech, his seemingly complete disavowal of all things troon now) is turning off a lot of former fans who put up with all his other smaller shit over the years.
 
I don't think the twitter thing was a publicity stunt, at least not to promote his move to daily wire. It seems to me he's committed himself to engaging in the culture wars, head on now, which he is free to do without any real threat of reprisal due to having the backing of a relatively large media outlet.

Say what you want about his kooky ways, but at least he's doing something, unlike the majority of people on here (including myself) who just whinge about the progressives and their flagrant faggotry whilst doing the square root of fuck all about it. He has influence, especially with young men, but also with politicians, journalists, academics and other conservative thinkers across the west.

So I stand by what I said earlier in the thread. Jordan Peterson, overall, is a force for good. Come at me with your autistic and dumb tags. Like the good doctor taught me, I will embrace the slings and arrows and rise up stronger as a consequence. Cunts.
