I wonder if Jordan's views would change if he lived with Low income Whites in South Africa for a year. Would fixating on race still be harmful, or would his liberal values fracture in the face of not living in a first world majority White nation. *sigh*

Also i Sincerely think that Jordan Peterson advice does work but I don't believe he follows his own advice anyone would know this by just lurking on this therad I think if someone wants to be a father figure they must set a good example (sense this is Jordan Peterson) a good father will set the example to his kids on cleaning their rooms by keeping his own room clean himself but Jordan Peterson obviously doesn't do this at least most of the time maybe that's way I stop taking him seriously the more I learn about him the role models I look up to are strong honest wise men like Johnny cash and Clint Eastwood for example but not fake dishonest influencer men like Jordan Peterson and Jack Murphy but you get the idea that's all I got btw

Nothing especially interesting. He said that Trudeau should drop the mandates so as to appease the protestors, but he stopped short of explicitly aligning himself with them, and when asked if he'd show up to support the protestors in person, he not very convincingly said that he couldn't because he had "other commitments".

In the end, I suspect that Peterson's main sympathy with the protestors stems not from the fact that they're protesting against the government, but the fact that they're nominally aligning themselves with the notion that things should return to normal. It's a consistent theme throughout Peterson's message if you study it closely: anything that upsets the status quo must be bad (be it, protests, or mandates), because the status quo was forged around a system of practices, responsibilities, and hierarchies which Peterson assumes must be natural, and therefore just.

Perhaps the most insidious implication of this assumption was evidenced last year when Peterson gave an incredibly toadying answer on Question Time wherein he attempted to defend politicians from criticism of their corruption and incompetence because, in his words, "it's complicated"; the implication being that the responsibilities of a politician's job must be beyond the comprehension of ordinary people, and that this must entitle them to some immunity from criticism. After all, the fact that a politician is in their position must mean that they've earned it, right?

I don't trust Kyle, but jeez is Jordan lobotomized. The argument for why the breast cutting is criminal shouldn't be pearl clutching or some pseudo "not everything legal is right" but rather that a doctor takes an oath to do no harm. Kyle would obviously rebuke with if gender dysphoria is more harmful which returns a question of is it really and why did Ellan have no issue with it for so long.

Jordan is a big boy so it's his choice to go on a show like this, but it does feel like something Destiny would do where he would bring on people with brain damage to use them as a strawman for an agenda.
 
His twitter ban video, aside from coming off as completely full of fake anger and feigning ignorance as to why he was banned, showed a pretty big shift on his beliefs on trans people. He used to say that trans people obviously exist as a medical condition, but was worried about social contagion, and that the neopronoun bullshit is retarded and shouldn't be entertained. He for some reason is now saying Ellen Page got swept up in the social contagion of trangenderism, that all gender reassignment surgeons are criminals, and that trans people in general are all bullshit.

I wonder, did he come in contact with too many retarded troons due to his twitter addiction and that changed his mind, or was the allure of making bank grifting on DW just too much to resist?

Personally I guess that there's two options:
1. His numbers are down and he's trying to get them back up.
2. His coma brain frying experiment impaired his judgement.

Looking back at him wearing a frog and using that to post himself to /pol/ while playing it off as a coincidence is something I never really bought. Pepe was too well known by then. He isn't the only one who put out a plausible deniability dog whistle out there, there were quite a few people who did something like that at the time.

I think looking back, the "so you're saying" woman was more correct than he admitted when she asked that he liked being provocative.

In hindsight, that interview reminds me of the famous reza aslan one. Where the interviewer looks completely flustered and dumb, but part of the reason they do is because the person being interviewed is not telling the truth and the interviewer actually did have good research, but they're now doubting it during the interview.

My gut feeling is #2. Even when he was in peak grifting for one of his products in the past, he wasn't like this. I think if he stayed the course and kept attacking the social contagion issues surrounding transgenderism and the pronoun shit, he could still be gaining new followers since this is even more at the culture war now than in 2016-17, so I don't know if going this route was necessary.

He for sure likes being provocative in the way he talks. It's one of the reasons he always seems to start off being vague as shit when he talks about something until someone really tries to nail down what the hell he's trying to say. It's the one trait I always found most annoying about him.

Mixed in with wash your balls buckos, his 10th rule is be precise in your speech, but he seems to try to do anything but that at times. My guess is because he knows if he leaves open two vastly different interpretations of what he's saying, one charitable and one not so much, it gets him a shit ton of attention. He's gotta feed that twitter addiction somehow

While he isn't a 100% wrong about the West going insane and partly degenerate the argument "therefore Putin was completely right and had the right to attack Ukraine" simply does not compute. It's also hypocritical because he himself did not "fight" hard enough to stop the spread of degeneracy in his own country.
