This motherfucker knew Elliot Page doesn't go by Ellen Page anymore, and knew they identify as a male, but he intentionally formatted his tweet that way in order to disrespect them -- then has the audacity to claim he's the fucking victim in the situation. Why is it so difficult to show basic respect towards another human being? If you're going to put their name in your mouth at least acknowledge them in the way they wish to be acknowledged. You know that shit doesn't fly on that platform. If you want to claim your tweet wasn't intending to be a shitpost then delete the shit and repost it again with the corrected name and pronoun. How is that a fucking problem? What "freedom of speech" hill does he think he's dying on? If you're going to intentionally attack someone's identity on twitter (let alone a fucking tranny of all people) don't be surprised when all your enemies hop on the opportunity to take your stupid ass out. He can "misgender" Ellen Page as often as he wants. But he shouldn't pretend like he didn't know why he was banned & cry about it. He could have speak out against this idiotic rule & stand by what he did and then leave Twitter like he always wanted.

That's exactly what my point is. I'm not trying to imply he /has/ to do either in an ideological sense, my point was to characterize what his intent was in the situation that he's claiming to be the victim in.

"Respect" wasn't the best word in that context, but rather you should have the maturity to respect that as being part of the rules on the platform. When you intentionally put yourself into that situation you're not a fucking victim of anything. You don't need to misgender them in that tweet to make your point, the only reason you do that is to attack the person you're talking about. It's ridiculous to portray the response as suppressing your opinions, you know that's not the reason, and that's my point. It's strictly a community guidelines issue.

If having to call a tranny by what they want to go by on a mainstream social media platform is your "free speech" hill, then fuck off and die for it retard. It's such a trivial issue. We all know the site is ran by trannies, who the fuck cares about having to comply with that, let alone goes on to make a 14 minute long video crying about it, grow the fuck up.

And it is a sensible rule to have in place from their perspective. If they openly allow users to fuck with trannies that way the chimp out would destroy their platform overnight. Of course they won't allow you to do that, it's not a free speech platform, and it's never claimed to be one, you know not to expect that. He says he's going to wear the ban like a badge of honour and he's relieved to be rid of twitter. Showcasing there was nothing organic about deadnaming Ellen Paige, he just wanted to maximize the utility of his twitter account by creating the biggest possible cntroversy. Troubled young man describes me to a T but Peterson is so far from father figure he may as well be in the nearest star system. He's only a father figure to men that have no idea how their relationship with their father was supposed to have been. He says the wise words, has a decent external image (until he starts talking), and appears to have it made financially.

Sure, Dad and I had our disagreements, but he did what was best for me even at cost to himself. The guys that follow Peterson want that kind of relationship, but they don't want the actual messy parts of being in a relationship with someone.

Edit for those interested, vassopressin and oxytocin obviously function in a more complicated way that she suggests. Neonatal castrated voles do not have the same bonding and male - male aggression. However if given vassopressin injections, this bonding and male - male aggression returns.

Yay Jordan Peterson is pretty bad father figure i don't think there will be a automated prefect father figure because no one is flawless but if you go around calling yourself a father figure at least stick to what you believe and be strong Jordan Peterson is none of that if you ask me Johnny cash is a better father figure then he is sure he may not have been prefect but at least he didn't cry when someone said a thing he didn't like and stuck to what he believed and was humble
