Hoo boy.
Back during Mighty No. 9's development, there was an insane Social Justice Warrior named Dina Abou Karam who was put in charge of community management. She knew nothing about Megaman, was only there because she was fucking a developer, and from the moment she was appointed, began to push identity politics on the boards. She was quick to push diversity idiocy and scream at length about politics, and she sanctioned anyone who spoke out against her - on a forum where the posters were almost all big kickstarter backers. She claimed she was being harassed, of course, all the while insulting the people who called her out for her shit.

When Gamergate happened, she kicked it up to 11 and began banning anyone who spoke ill of her, criticized Zoe Quinn, or spoke out in favor of Gamergate. Banning people who had donated hundreds of dollars for disagreeing with her politically. It all came to a head when they did a charge-back campaign, costing Mighty No. 9 at least six figures
that we know about, and led to Dina being shit-canned. By this point Comcept's reputation was in the toilet, and their ability to manage their community in tatters. It was generally considered the prototype fuck-up that would lead to Mighty No. 9's disastrously sub-par release.
Now for the lightning round:
She was put up to injecting identity politics into the forum and censoring GG on the forum by Zoe Quinn.
No joke.
