Also, Wikipedia's picked up on this:

So my associate (who shall remain nameless) informed me that the JonTron Subreddit had to be shut down (its now back up) due to crippling stupidity. The mods were getting constant complaints to the point where it was utterly impossible to keep up with them; it doesn't help that people were using the mod contact info to bitch and whine rather than report actual info. Here's just a small example:

I'm content with his explanation of himself.
But for some it is now even more proof that he's a nazi, apparently.

I'm glad he said he would defend any joke, no matter how tasteless, but I am getting pretty sick of people claiming Jon and pewdiepie's jokes were somehow especially heinous. The whole weird puritanical vibe coming off the outrage media is crazy, and when people say these jokes are bad form or whatever, they are tacitly accepting the media's stance.

And aside from the fact that it's all bullshit, if there is anything we should all know by now it's that if you give the outrage media an inch, they'll take a fucking light year - already from the other videos of youtube celebs sticking up for these guys while distancing themselves from the jokes you can see them targeting that weakness and trying to make it commonly accepted that you just can't make jokes about nazis.

I know I'm not saying anything new here, but the thing that gets me the most about this weird Victorian middle class attitude to comedy is that they don't even attempt to hide the fact that they don't believe in it except when necessary to take someone down. The hypocrisy is just too outrageous.

The PewDiePie one was particularly brainless. You'd have to go out of your way to have not only no sense of humor but no idea what humor even is to mistake that joke for actual anti-Semitism. The joke wasn't "lol Jews" it was that these "pay an idiot five dollars to do a video" sites will literally say anything for five bucks, even something incredibly offensive like endorsing Nazism.

Yeah, that's excessively edgy if you're working for Disney and they'll probably nope on out of there, but it wasn't anything remotely like actual anti-Semitism.

As for JonTron, yeah he said some dumb shit and he said some shit dumbly, but I've so totally had it with the outrage mob that I couldn't give less of a shit if I tried.

Ghazi melts down over Jontron; Sargon mocks it.

God, say what you want about Kotaku in Action - they can be spergy as fuck at times and I've seen people on there defend pedophilia and say Roosh V has some good ideas, but if I was limited to one site for the rest of my time on the internet, I'd rather go there than spend five minutes on Ghazi.

So, Neogaf is calling for Jon's vocal work in Yooka-Laylee to be removed.

Maybe it's just me, but I highly doubt that the developers would give enough of a rat's ass to appease the likes of Neogaf.

NeoGAF has been a complete write-off for most of the industry for a while.

Even the biggest SJWs in the industry consider it a group of retarded howler monkeys not worth anyone's time.

Moving along: Jim Sterling put up a thing on Jontron and Pewdiepie.

And yes, it's just as stupid as you might expect.

The thing starts off with Sterling trying to make the case that because Jon and Pewds are celebrities, their words are fair game, which is fucking hilarious for someone who's taken the stances and said the various racist and sexist shit Sterling himself has. He then details that Jontron was "fucking gross," and details that Jon "repeated neo-nazi talking points" while providing no citations or evidence. Finally, just to drive home the whole shebang, Sterling mocks the idea that they were talked about out-of context, while pretty much solely talking about them sans context.

I am so glad I stopped listening to that bloated gasbag.
