He's done the fake apologies before, he gets off on it. Like saying, "look what I did, and all I had to do is write this (with my fingers crossed behind my back) so na-na-boo-boo. I'm rubber you're glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you".

He needs to get hit with some steep fines, and hard-time. 2 years less-a-day is what he'll hopefully get.
 
I can't see Jonno ever having the sanity or humility to even fake-apologize in this case, so I have no doubt this will go further. I hope he gets bitchslapped by the actual court system, although I recognize that might be optimistic, because Canada.

I guess lawyers know what they're doing? I dunno, it just seems like they could've left out a lot of the stuff that gets Jonny's microdick hard, and still demanded an apology. Am not a lawyer though (nor do I play one in C-197).

This is interesting. My thought is that they don't want an apology, they want to string him up in court but at the same time they want to appear reasonable to the judge, and by offering yanny boy a chance to back down, they have done just that.

At the same time the letter has not so subtle digs about yaniv's size, aggression, and lack of femininity, which aren't necessary if you're just asking for an apology. Those digs are probably bait to make yaniv angry to reduce the already slim chance he might have a sudden fit of sanity and apologize.

IANAL but I think they need to articulate what they will later claim damages for, should it proceed.

You ain't a lawyer are you. If he* "apologizes" he admits. Imagine the repercussions of that. Sure, if Amy wants to be nice Amy can let him off with the mere humiliation of an apology. But imagine all the dominoes that would start toppling in the rest of his miserable worthless life.... *Holy fuck I actually wrote "she" before realizing my mistake. We need to stop these troons before it is too late.....

Hopefully jonathan yaniv is now in a no-win situation - apologise and he's admitting he lied, refuse then they can wipe his face in court.

She, in my eyes, is just as guilty for jonny's behaviour as he is. She enables this fat shit to go round doing whatever the hell he wants to and to whomever. She actively joined in the first reporter assault and just stood watching her son attack the second reporter. She both enables and defends his aggressive, obnoxious behaviour on and offline because she is no better than he is.

In an ideal world she should be up there with him answering charges but then again in an ideal world neither of them would exist, let alone be loose in society.

If you actually want to collect damages in a defamation action you are almost compelled to request a retraction first. In some places, there's even a statute requiring it, but even where there isn't, you're seriously limiting your damages by not giving an opportunity to retract.

Yup. But in this case (due to the fact that Yanny is essentially his own Tranny Mulitverse) layers of potential consequences are poured on top of his choice before it is offered to him....

I was talking to a solicitor once, and she told me one piece of information they'll look to get from clients that want to take legal action against an individual, is 'if that individual owns their own home'.

The Lawyers at the end of the day will be paid, if Yaniv has no assets (and they can't include his mother in it), there's no point. Yaniv as an individual can drag the whole thing out for maximum expense and then at the end of the day just refuse to pay any settlement/costs.

These are autists who are just suing each other for fun though. The lawyers are either autists themselves or getting paid up front.
 
The demand letter is a typical "first move" in civil action. For reasons I won't get into here, our civil courts are set up such that Litigation is the very very last step once all other remedies have been exhausted. This demand letter is very reasonable, and I suspect that is the point. If the plaintiff shows that they have been reasonable, accommodating, and fair but to no avail, then when it gets to the mediation step, and ultimately if it goes to trial, there is a greater chance for higher damages and *most importantly* getting the defendant to pay the legal costs for the plaintiff. . The play is usually, "Your Honour, we've tried to settle this kindly and reasonably since the get-go, but the defendant has behaved unconscionably since the start.... Had the defendant accepted our VERY reasonable initial offer, our legal costs would have not been $X thousand dollars. We are asking you for a bench ruling to have the defendant reimburse our legal costs".

*Note* this play is used even in Pro bono cases where the defendant is not out of pocket. There is still a "virtual" cost to lawyers time, along with real costs of court filing fees, etc.. Judges in Canada were Lawyers before their judges and the know full well that even pro-bono work has a cost. Just watch this play out. It'll be good. Jonny's going to be on the hook for damages, court costs, legal fees for both sides, and then have to issue a public apology on top of all of this.

Now, being a newbie here, can someone point me to the popcorn maker?
 
I'm doing a small claims case (under 7500) against a mechanic here...& yes...the 1st thing is to send a "letter of demand"...I've done that...no reply....didn't even accept the certified letter.....So now it's off to court.
JY is in a pickle with this....admit it? & he admits to making false claims.....
Refuse? & he ends up in court.
I've read that Amy has over 1/2 the funds needed to sue JY...I may have to donate more?
I don't care personally if Amy gets cash.......
I want her to be wearing JYs scalp from her belt.

Agreed x 100. The little things like "patern of behavior" and getting judgements, even civil judgments, against him will add up and chip away at his troon armour. Maybe eventually it'll be so tarnished that the MSM will feel comfortable reporting on him (Post Millennial and The Rebel are generally regarded as fringe media here, not MSM)..

Maybe, though likely only a fantasy, Yaniv can cause politicians and MSM here to have a mature conversation about Transgenderism and Gender Dysphoria one day, instead of feeding free hormones to kids going through puberty and feeling awkward.
