Hard to connect tweets to him without a warrant, and warrants usually come at the behest of the Crown, or Electronic Crimes division. The one possibility might actually be that if Mr Smith's lawyer raises the reasonable hypothesis that Yaniv used sock accounts to coerce Donald into breaching his COR/undertaking, we might see some proper subpoenaed records from Twitter entering the public domain.

Since Amanda Todd, BC and Canada are more "awake" to cyberbullying, so it's plausible if Donald has decent counsel. But, I won't hold my breathe, because he's prolly gonna be fucked over by his duty counsel rep who just wants to clear his case.

Might be an instance of where his autism actually comes to benefit him, not sure for Canada but I'd imagine there'll be services in place to help mentally disable'd folk with legal nonsense, otherwise can you imagine the poor clerks that would need to handle their paper work? True horror.

You're talking about Canada, where they regularly put male offenders that claim gender dysphoria into women's correctional facilities, hand massive payouts to terrorists, the human rights tribunals are weaponized processes, and where radfems have demanded that jury trials be abolished, with judged mandated to take "victim-centred justice course", so they properly find against anyone accused.

I hate it, but I think you're optimistic.

in the states you don’t need a Judge for a 72 hour hold. Generally some combination of Law Enforcement Judgement and 2 attending physicians (“2PC”) is what is required. I’m pretty sure Canada is much the same. The standard is “threat or danger to self or others”. Yaniv’s escalating behavior and violent outbursts, captured on public video no less, would be enough to force an eval hold. Full committal for a longer period needs a Judge.

I believe that @DrRockzosNose meant that there would be surveillance cameras outside of the washrooms in the public hallway and those cameras would have captured Amy Hamm entering and immediately exiting the washroom, both corroborating her statements to GoingLikeElsie and @yesthatanna as well as proving there was no way she could have possibly "sexually assaulted" Yaniv in the seconds she was in the washroom at the same time as him before hurriedly backing out.

The court clerk searched the exact case, was even confused by it. Had me on a few minute hold. Came back and said it was imposed by the crown directly.

She gave me the number for the crown prosecutor, and I’ll give their office a ring a ding dong tomorrow.
