I don't give a shit about the fact he's stopped making videos, it's the fact that it makes zero fucking sense that he's "quitting comedy" as a whole. God help us if he ends up like George Takei.
Also, the throat damage is bullshit considering he's still doing the "serious singing" thing which is infinitely more strenuous than doing grumpy voices for funny videos on the internet. Maybe he ate glass or something, who knows.
This is a good reason to prefer independent content creators over soulless corporations running television stations. They can end their projects when they want, without having a CEO yell to their face "no, now go make 20 more seasons" because they're under contract.
Yeah, that seems like a weird reason to quit.Welp, good things don't last. May he forge a good path.
And the throat thing is weird. I'm not too well versed in voice acting/changing but how does a reedy voice like Frank hurts the throat? Heard a couple of VAs that does that and even lower, and their voices are still fine afterwards. He's still singing after that too. That's confusing.
Voice acting like that can actually be hard on your vocal chords. Almost any voice you do that isn't your normal one comes with some strain. Singers usually have to "warm up" their vocal chords like an althlete does their muscles. It's been documented in both cartoons and games over the past two or three decades that some harm can come from the strain of voice acting, usually it's not permanent but it isn't pleasant. And these are professional voice actors who have experience and aren't just doing le shouting man voice.Welp, good things don't last. May he forge a good path.

Considering how it is with some people who do a character and they keep going on with it, mediocrity is bound to kick in. Joji could of ended up being like the rest of them.Still considering what I've seen happen with some YouTube channels and others on the internet it's better to end it here than to devolve into unfunny content.
With good things, either they finish off good or they go on only to end up becoming terrible. And may his health not get screwed over from all the shit he did as Filthy Frank.Welp, good things don't last. May he forge a good path.
