So... What's the deal with the vertical bandana? I mean it's certainly a unique piece of clothing I have to give him credit for it.

I'm kind of surprised I've never seen Mexican or black gangbangers rock the vertical bandana to be honest.

His explanation starts at :47. It's a hallmark of his brand along with always being shirtless. People gave him shit because they thought it looked fucking stupid, but he owned it.

I think it looks awesome? Like don't get me wrong it's weird but he does totally own it and I could totally see some rapper sporting this and it turning into a trend.
It looks like a cross between a RuneScape character and the pope.

It's hard for people to have anything unique and instantly recognizable in terms of style or fashion nowadays and he certainly managed it somehow without being a tryhard.

I have life long treatment resistant depression and have struggled with suicidal ideation for many years now. Oftentimes I don't even know why I'm still holding on. Joe was probably tired of hearing "it gets better" because fucking when?
Get on the power process that Uncle Ted talks about. You'll feel competent, setting and meeting goals.

The Power Process

33. Human beings have a need (probably based in biology) for something that we will call the power process. This is closely related to the need for power (which is widely recognized) but is not quite the same thing. The power process has four elements. The three most clear-cut of these we call goal, effort and attainment of goal. (Everyone needs to have goals whose attainment requires effort, and needs to succeed in attaining at least some of his goals.) The fourth element is more difficult to define and may not be necessary for everyone. We call it autonomy and will discuss it later (paragraphs 42–44).

34. Consider the hypothetical case of a man who can have anything he wants just by wishing for it. Such a man has power, but he will develop serious psychological problems. At first he will have a lot of fun, but by and by he will become acutely bored and demoralized. Eventually he may become clinically depressed. History shows that leisured aristocracies tend to become decadent. This is not true of fighting aristocracies that have to struggle to maintain their power. But leisured, secure aristocracies that have no need to exert themselves usually become bored, hedonistic and demoralized, even though they have power. This shows that power is not enough. One must have goals toward which to exercise one’s power.

35. Everyone has goals; if nothing else, to obtain the physical necessities of life: food, water and whatever clothing and shelter are made necessary by the climate. But the leisured aristocrat obtains these things without effort. Hence his boredom and demoralization.

36. Non-attainment of important goals results in death if the goals are physical necessities, and in frustration if non-attainment of the goals is compatible with survival. Consistent failure to attain goals throughout life results in defeatism, low self-esteem or depression.

37. Thus, in order to avoid serious psychological problems, a human being needs goals whose attainment requires effort, and he must have a reasonable rate of success in attaining his goals.

This site has gone on for too long without some Joe Winko dick riding. Here's some updates from the man himself to his Metatron. View attachment 5142219
Joe Winko is a being who constantly fluxuates between adamic nativity and shocking self awareness
View attachment 5142221View attachment 5142223I look and talk like this.
Ok this is one of the funniest things I've seen in ages:

Oh my God, I recognize the name Joe Winko from his Sims custom content logo that I encountered in the wild, I never saw his videos or knew he was a death-obsessed lolcow. I'm going to look at everyone I meet online now with renewed scrutiny. This has changed my whole perspective on life.

Back in the good old days people had to attend public executions to watch gay niggers die. Now I can watch gay niggers kill themselves from the comfort of my home. Guess the industrial revolution had some benefits.
haha dead gay nigger.webp
Btw I just realised you can download videos from drive way easier by installing the windows client and copying it from the explorer.

This is Joe Winko’s first film.

He truly was the Ed Wood of the internet age. All he wanted to do was be a gay wizard who makes horror movies.

If him living rent free in a room in someone's house is true then I can totally understand them not wanting a rotting body in their domicile.
Some people are just no fun. Geez. Talk about a stick in the mud.

That explains why it was so horrific. It is not as clean or as fast as the former. I saw other people talking about his cognition cutting off quick and god I hope its true, I really hope his suffering was quick before he passed.
I'm revising my analysis; If it was sodium nitrate it might have taken a little bit to kick in, and there might have been some fading awareness for longer than expected; NaN takes a little longer to clock you out than Cyanide. But Joe Winko as a self-aware entity was no longer logging events by the 35:00 timestamp.

Did you watch it? 0% chance he realized anything he wasn't thinking at all at that point
Given his chemical of choice and that he fucked up his dose, he might have had a brief period of "drowning" sensation. But not for very long. I don't think he was fully conscious, below half awake.

many people who survived jumping off a bridge describe immediately regretting doing so after jumping, i gather this guy had a suicide attempt before, but the realization that it was going to succeed this time and there was no stopping it was probably terrifying.
Except in extreme cases, you body has deep routed processes to want to stay alive as long as possible.
I was watching some psychologist explain the theory that the reason why so many people pull a full 180 after surviving a suicide attempt is basically mentally illness/a mundane shitty existence may cause the self-preservation parts of the brain to be less active, but during a suicide/attempt they will fire up full blast and may stay "activated" even after.
Think of a car with a stuck sensor that suddenly starts working again after it hits a very high/low input, or like a jammed float valve.
Basically a full perspective shift at the wetware level by having the "I don't want to die" parts of your brain kick into overdrive.

How complete is it? I'm currently downloading everything off of YouTube, but at this point it's more that I just want to let it go and see how it turns out. If any of it's useful for archival that'd be neat though.
3GBs of his suicide
It's 8GB, and Joe Winko came to me in a dream and said he wanted the video to be shared so I'm breaking into your house and plugging USB drives (multiple) into your PC with copies of the videos. Is there anything you needed for the rewrite, or is it back burnered while the content he scheduled comes out?
