Maybe it's just me but I wasn't too thrilled with French's attempts to make himself relatable with his little stories about how he once had a friend who's name was kinda like this one term.

I’d like to add my two cents:

I could be wrong, but it seems that if the judges agree with Flynn and reverse the Wilson dismissal, that could have major implications against Jim’s case. Essentially the court would be agreeing that calling Flynn and “employee” of Putin is in fact the crux of some, if not all, of the defamation.

And putting Flynn aside, it is very different to call someone an “employee” of someone vs calling them a shill, a promoter, etc. An employee is a legal, contractual relationship. Wilson intended it to mean that Flynn was at that time an employee of Putin. (Thats most likely false and he knew it).

They didn’t start off very strong though. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they rule against Flynn and leave the dismissal alone.

You know what I found interesting about that argument? It’s that it doesn’t really help Wilson. His own attorney is showing the court that Flynn is very tolerable of hyperbole and political speech. After all, Flynn isn’t suing him for any of that. He let it go. It’s only this one very specific thing he’s suing Wilson over.

I’m not saying the judges will see it that way, but they very well could. As soon as the attorney claimed that his client had been ripping on Flynn for a long time, I said “woah buddy, this may not go the way you want it to”.

Something that I found interesting while going through this mess.. Jim has for years talked about the constant threat he is under from the suicide trolls and Flynn's schemes. This isn't the first time he's laughed away the same people that he swears is trying to kill him, he's on the top five of their kill list he has said, but it is another time he's done it.
