That’s interesting that Jim would follow such a silly persona. This guy follows 10x more than he’s followed by. What does he offer to Jim that he needs to follow him?
As a rule of thumb, I don’t follow anyone that
1) seems like a follow back account (example, someone has 10k followers but follow 10k)
2) an account that follows 5x or higher than is followed by. (Example, following 1k, followed by 100 people).
Also, when I see things like this I always remember that Jim is associated with astroturfing dorks like Rauhauser who used to make accounts in batches of 100. And then immediately use them all to build up his friends and associates. It helps explain why Jim’s view numbers are very low for his following.

I don't think Trump needs to do a whole lot of drum beating now that he's been shot. I don't know if he would've needed to even if the shooting never happened. IMO where Biden's campaign boiled down to "at least I'm not Trump", Trumps was working towards "at least I'm not them".
I can understand not liking the Hogan thing but I really enjoyed it for two reasons: One, it was a silly, goofy, and fun moment that encapsulated a lot of the feelings that anyone not sucking Dem dick is feeling. Two, I really appreciated the mask off moment where it showed off that all of American politics is just a big, fucking show. I've seen people compare that to Idiocracy and all I can think is "have you dumb fucks not been paying attention for the las decade?" It's all a show from both sides of the political aisle. Nothing gets done, shit gets worse, and they keep getting richer and more power over us. Let me just use examples from the conservative side. JD's state of Ohio has another republican congressman that right wing media loves, Jim Jordan. He is a talking head who says obvious things that get played on air, made into b-b-b-based youtube shorts, clips of him totally wrecking someone on Capital Hill, and yet for the life of me I cannot name a single thing he's actually done save for him voting YES on the bill that said you cannot quote the Bible at Jews or that's a hate crime. Maybe just one more 5 minute video of his complete pwning of the ATF after they straight up pulled a hit on some dude in Arkansas will finally make some change. It reminds me of the early teens when I saw so many clips of b-b-b-based Trey Gowdy and b-b-b-based Ted Cruz. So many best moments compilations on youtube and I don't know if they actually did anything beneficial. I can actually remember a clip of Trey Gowdy saying to let who ever the hell was looking into Russian pissgate thing or Russian collusion cook because that person was a good lawyer and they'll do good work instead of calling it a fucking waste of tax payers' money that we all knew it fucking was. How many times has Ted Cruz talked to heads of social media and gotten on them about their blatant censorship and how many times has that changed? Anyone remember the RobinHood and Gamestop debacle? Anyone remember all the fucking politicians who tried to get to the bottom of the matter by using their five minutes to talk about unrelated and irrelevant issues? The whole damnable thing is a show. It's not this hallowed hall of dignity. We have politicians make bank because they can do insider trading every day and create their legislation around what gets them the most return. We had them still drawing checks in 2020 when they put most of the country out of business to protect us from ourselves. He doesn't go full Fatrick and interact with all the trolls and the ones that he does interact with are pretty easy for him to rebuke as they go into their own non-sequiturs. That's what got me with Flynn Jr interaction. Jr had the chance to really make fun of a doddering, old retard but instead he out boomered who looks like he's patient zero by trying some high road/intellectual bullshit. Even his podcast is pretty samey. While I enjoy listening to it and giving a break down sometimes, it's just him regurgitating his twitter feed in annoying voice with a demeaning tone and two other retards are there too. The best one, imo, was the one right before Biden noped the fuck out of the race because of how smug they were about Biden, them calling everyone who wanted Biden to step down "bed wetters", and just knowing how much shit and crow they had to eat the very next day and that's the problem. The most interesting thing about that episode is everything outside of the episode. I was a little sad when interest in the thread dropped off after the first two weeks but I do know why and get it. Right off the bat, can I just say that “Byline Supplement” is likely the worst name for a commentary website I’ve ever heard? Has anyone thought this out? It’s very simple (Heidi pay attention), a “byline” is your name on a published contribution to a site or print. A “byline supplement” is essentially saying “here’s some more of our name, because you needed it”. If this site was filled with hot commodities (NYT bestselling authors) then this would make sense. Having a bunch of nobody hacks is not a supplement, it’s a foundational pillar for a nothing career.
This “game show host” rhetoric was tested and by Obama. It failed only because even the staunchest haters knew that he only did a game show because of his wide-ranging success. It’s literally a meme that’s been dead for 8 years and was dead on arrival. The fact that Heidi still relies on it shows me she doesn’t really understand the work of politics. Maybe this is why she needs a byline supplement
It’s nice to see them copying the circular sources method. And it’s funny because it barely works for the largest networks out there.
