My first act as your benevolent dictator will be to ban @CatParty and purge A&H of all posts that cast the LGBTQAIWTFBBQ in a bad light. Next anyone posting any pro-Trump articles will be banned and reported to the proper authorities with full doxxxx as well as making sure any filthy capitalist propaganda is swiftly deleted and only posts that show the glorious motherland in a good light will be allowed.

My ideal forum would be Resetera and I will strive diligently to ensure that A&H becomes a safe space for all non-cis-hetosexual lifestyles. Furries, MAP's and auto-sexual's will thrive and prosper under my enlightened reign.

I would be interested in doing it. I am active on the board often, and would like the moderation to not become bad. No other reason to become a mod besides that, hope whoever becomes a mod doesn’t become a talking point in of themselves and it can continue being a good board imo

If the burnout is guaranteed, why not try and address that issue? You have three streams of autism under the A&H umbrella, Articles and News, which beams clownworld headlines directly into your brain, then you have happenings megathreads, filled with all kinds of emotional personal accounts of how all these problems impact users ( and regular users in the megathread often encourage breaks from it), then the cherry on top is deep thoughts, a mix of shitposts and threads that can give a person an existential crisis. It's no wonder people burn out trying to moderate all three spaces.

What if you said you were limiting moderation to one subforum? one for each area? Less work, less burnout. I just can't see the same person moderating Articles and News or Happenings, and then asking them to step into Deep Thoughts as well.

You should spend the weekly pizza day with your mods to sweeten the deal, especially if you aren't paying them, or something else to sweeten the deal/offset the abuse. Time zones fuck that all up though.
 
I'd be a perfect janny - I'm incredibly lazy, unqualified, extremely biased, will probably forget that I'm even a janny within a week, and probably end up getting perma'd for going mad with what little power a janny gets. What more could you want for the moderation team for your retard daycare?

You know, I could get behind @The Last Stand doing it.

1) Black, so posters can not only be transphobic against the janny but also racist.

2) Posts old women, so we can also be ageist in some way.

3) Perennial fencesitter, so offensive to everybody.

I cannot see any flaws in this absolutely genius plan.
