On one hand, I've done moderation jobs in the past, and I frequent the boards in question. However, I know from experience that turning something fun into an obligation tends to sour it quite a bit. So only consider me if you really have no other option.

I also second @Lichen Bark 's suggestion of splitting up the janny work between boards. It might reduce the stress load that's apparently intrinsic to being a janny in the Thunderdome.

I'm confused why so many people are (seriously) "applying" for this position. What part of being a janny seems fun? Worth your time? If you use the Thunderdome consistently as it is, and think by being a janny you could make it more tolerable, and somehow you have the time to commit to being a janny, than fine.

I don't use the forums enough to know about everyone, or really anyone, but I agree with nominating @Lards and Lasses and @Zero Day Defense from the limited times I've seen them.
