As funny as it would be, I wouldn't want to deal with that stuff and I cannot imagine how much of a shit storm that would ensue if anyone thought they were unjustly banhammered or had a post moved.

It'd definitely be entertaining but I don't want to deal with that stuff and I can't imagine you would, either

I mostly lurk those sections as I'm not interested in internet slap fights. But from my lurking I really love hollywood hulk hogan. And as much shit as that dude takes around those parts and is STILL hanging around even though everybody already hates him, lol. That's exactly the kind of janny you want. Is fair and can handle everybody hating him AND isn't part of the normal group think in those parts of the site.

I am entirely capable of being impartial in banjaxing tards

I have plenty of free time on my hands and a fast internet connection

I have good communication skills

Last page Null said he really needs a third to balance you and @CatParty out since you two do 90% of the threads there - who would both of you find tolerable to work with? Seems like it's worth a thought.
 
I don't nominate myself. If I did, it would be because I like the section but don't post in it and most of the problems appear to be people stuck in schizo loops who forgot to be funny or clever.

Based on my personal experience, threads usually devolve into the same talking points and tropes, actual discussion gets muted. The Rittenhouse thread being case in point.

I don't know how many times one can stomach hearing the same tripe line repeated over and over without losing their shit. Apparently, that's "forum culture." No wonder A&N, despite being more popular, has to be sequestered from the rest of the site.

I would think the first responsibility would be to regulate the shit posting so actual discussion can be facilitated.

And it's that sort of attitude that creates animosity. Why do you need to regulate anything? We aren't hurting anyone, let us talk about whatever we want to talk about.
