Police have determined the 11 year old Muslim girl from Ontario, Canada who claimed a white man cut her Hijab off made it up and no such attack happened.

Who is ready for the incoming mental gymnastics about how it's not the act itself its the ~idea of it~ or some shit.
:story:

B-but, the Trump victory has emboldened the far right enough that such a thing is now conceivable! Reeeeeeeeeeeee!

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/scarborough-hijab-attack-1.4487716

Amira Elghawaby, a human rights advocate based in Ottawa, said she was saddened to learn that the girl's story was not true, adding it will likely only serve to embolden "those who do hold discriminatory views of Muslims."

What a time to be alive, when a human rights advocate is disappointed that someone's human rights were not breached.

Thanks friendo for posting link, I'm phone shitposting and links are hard.

On the bright side (I guess) Kathaleen Wynne's (Ontario's Premier) statement was thanking police for their hard work and saying that everyone should be glad this attack didn't actually happen.

Fuck though I gotta say, :powerlevel: when I was 11, I was making up stories about doing cool shit to impress people not making up shit about being attacked by a random white man on the street the fuck is wrong with this kid?

L'Oreal Features Hijab-Wearing Amena Khan In 'Game Changing' New Hair Campaign
'Hair is a big part of self-care.'

Probably a virtue signal.

To be fair, the firm I trained at had a receptionist who often wore a hijab. She was actually Muslim though. Though when it was about to go on (usually before home time, I get the impression her family were conservative and didn't approve of women working too much) she'd strap this big floofy thing to the back of her head veggie wrapping it up to look like she had loads of hair but tied back.

She also wore mountains of make up.

They'll be the same people who suffered smug-induced priapism when that white guy who claimed to have been stabbed by antifa got caught lying.

It's old news but fuck it. In her original video she claimed that the shape of Saudi Arabia sparked her fascination with Islam when she was a child, that's incredibly stupid and she should feel stupid. Maybe if the conquests, Sunni/Shia split and the list of badass Crusades were her reason for her fascination with Islam, than most of us wouldn't be so confused. But then again we're talking about a weeaboo who lives in Japan and somehow managed to wear the Burqa.

Salaam alaykum, alnnasih,
please notice me.
I wear more modest clothing than you,
I'm an Islamaboo!

That's like the absolute garbage tier reason to convert...

Fuck me... Do I need to do a write up on some notable people? I can do one...

They're probably better reasons to convert than the shape of a country...

There is autism, and then there is whatever the shit this is.

I stumbled across this post (archive) whitewashing Muhammad's marriages and his actions towards his wives. It was reblogged around 14,000 times before someone blew it the fuck out with facts and primary sources. It's long but really quite beautiful. You can read the screencaps below, but I recommend reading the linked post if you want to see the sources cited.

I may sift through some of the replies and post them, but for now I'm happy to share this amazing rebuttal.

Also, what the fuck do these women's lives and actions have to do with Muhammad's morality? Good for them for accomplishing so much, but that doesn't erase Muhammad's many shitty, immoral actions.

With how common pedo and Islam apology is among social justice circles it really isn't surprising you would find people defending Muhammand having a child bride.

Funny thing is, her supporters of her conversion were mostly from Malaysian Muslims, not Japanese. Better yet, in her original video, almost all comments typed in Japanese were all disparaging telling her to leave the country and the dislike bar curb stomped the like bar. Before eventually deleting her video, turning off the like bar and comment section not almost all her long time subscribers told her to go fuck herself before unsubbing.

If he were a white man they'd say it was misogyny to even associate these women with him because it'd be putting women into a man's shadow.

The vast majority of Muslims in Japan are Malaysian/Indonesian Muslims (and their Japanese spouses). Muslims from that part of the world also incidentally make up the majority of Muslim weebs which you should check DeviantArt for if you want some fine examples.

Thankfully urfavmurtad called OP out, although not before 34k reblogs/likes of OP's post spread throughout Tumblr...

Fuck all of this. People are actually justifying Islamic sexism because it's ~exotic~ and non-Western. You can dress it up all you want, but the fact of the matter is that mainstream Islamic thought is often misogynistic and enforces gender segregation.

When did this wave of massive islamophilia come abound? Did Trump accidentally bring it (after all the refugees came out on the same year he did), or has this been boiling for years?
It's been around since immigration brought large numbers of Muslims to the west. Leftists have got to justify the actions of their new base somehow, and shutting down discussion with accusations of racism and "it's their culture!" are the easiest methods.
