I REALLY don't like turning a thread about relinquish into a flame war thread, its unbecoming. Slav power pretty well had it coming since he shot first, but the stuff about osama feels like its just airing out grievances buried in DM's. I didn't know him TOO well, but I can't imagine he'd want a thread about his death devolve into a fucking slap fight.

I'm not even trying to say osama should be defended outside here necessarily, but ffs, is this necessary to have this here? Please?
 
I really hope he's still alive. I may not have known the guy well, but he's responsible for some of the most important and well-written threads on the site. This place would be much worse off without him. :(

It isn't a secret, there's a catty bitchy rivalry thing going on between thread OP writers and has been for a while, 99% being OBL related for... some reason.
Because infighting is le bad it never gets resolved properly, it's nothing to do with us poor sweet innocent DMfags though, if anything we make it less bad because it lets people vent, when they don't have an outlet? the stuff ITT.

This reminds me of how some of the greatest minds always got some dark shit going on. I am incredibly thankful for all the hours of research and writing he did, he will not be forgotten. Wherever he is I hope he's resting and his mind is finally at peace, on Earth or otherwise.
 
we have a virtual funeral for another dead kiwi every couple months it feels like. always suicide, never anything natural.

this website seems to attract tortured souls. i can't articulate exactly why but it makes sense though. kf appeals to certain types of people who have a high chance to be like that.

This may be the wrong place to put this, but this is one of the few sites I've seen where we mourn the death of one of our own. Where site regulars are noticed by those around them, acknowledged for their accomplishments, remembered by others...
I don't want to go on some kind of gay ramble but, basically, even if you think nobody will miss you, somebody will, whether that be a neighbor, coworker, that barista you see every weekday morning, or the other retards who use the same gossip website you do.
Just your presence is a 'present' to yourself and others, kiwibros. I hope those of us that struggle will one day fully actualize that truth.

Sometimes when people claim they commit suicide online I always imagine them just moving on from an internet persona.
