That "suicide note" he left was pretty definitive. Some automated X routine probably just checked the account. Even then if he were alive it's not likely he'd intentionally abandon the farms without at least saying something- but we can't always expect justification all the time. People come and go all the time, they don't owe anyone any explanation no matter how nice we think it would have to have one.

Dead or not hopefully he found peace.

Relinquish's X account as pointed out by JBNF has had its location set back to Kazakhstan.

There was no VPN/proxy icon when the location was in Korea.

The new Korean school year began on March 3rd, and foreign exchange student programs in Korea typically only lasts one or two semesters. This makes it highly likely he has flown back home to Kazakhstan.

@Relinquish I hope you have had a safe flight back home. Whatever the Koreans did to you I shall apologize on behalf.

Still skeptical as xitter account locations are rough estimations of previous IP addresses. @Cascade 's theory seems most likely in this situation.
I'm tempted to ask staff for IP checks for both Relinquish and JBNF because we may get their cities. I just want to know my kiwibros are alright

Believe IPs aren't retained for longer than 1 month in KFs case. Relinquish has been gone quite a while so his IP may not be on file anymore.

Looks like @Juan But Not Forgotten, who was connected to @Relinquish and appears frequently in this thread, may be dead as well. Hasn't been online in almost 2 weeks and his Recent Activity suggests he was nihilistic and suicidal:

I wish I've never discovered this place. I'd say it sucks now, but come on, it's never been good to begin with.

The consensus is that Relinquish is dead. No definitive evidence has emerged that he has been on the internet since he changed his about section on KF and no one wants to comb thousands of messages and DM chains to find leads on someone who is either dead or doesn't want to be contacted again.

There is still no definitive evidence like in the case of Cats and BrunoMattei that Relinquish, the person, has died. There probably will never be unless a real life acquiantance signs up to this website which is highly unlikely.

I do believe it is safe to say that Relinquish, the alias, is 6 feet under though.
