Me and him were close. I have offsite contact but he hasn’t responded to any messages nor read them. I’m not trying to fearmonger anything, I really fucking hope he’s alive. I really fucking do.

I also asked him if he may know something about buying japanese books on Amazon jp and he replied that he has "korean card tops". And his russian wasn't that good when he just arrived, I even corrected him on his original subtitle "Когда-нибудь интернет убьёт меня".

So, maybe dropped out of uni or failed and exam or got a real taste of one of the reasons it's known as "worst" Korea these days?

His pattern of mistakes in his Russian and access to information on chingook Internet drama led me to believe he's Chinese or otherwise RSL East Asian, I've already noted that elsewhere.

i do know that he was busy with exams during Christmas times because of the Secret Santa event

Yeah, that was kinda schizo of me, languages are hard and take years to master even for native speakers, and he was very young.
Either way, hope the "death" is just a metaphor, and he decided to yeet this entire part of his Internet presense and focus on RL instead.

I talked with him pretty frequently, I was going to collab with him on an OP too. He was one of the people on this site I'd consider to be my friend. Genuinely sad to see him go, he had the same humor as me and was just a nice and funny guy to be around. I hope he really didn't do it, he was an amazing person and poster.
