Is Chris "getting better"?

It may seem that way what with Chris going out to bars and "meeting" people. But chris is jut the same as ever he replaced The Game Place and Pokemon/yu-gi-oh with gay bars and cross dressing. He still essentially lives in his fantasy world of CWCvill but instead of comic form it's now in lego form. He's still obsessed with Sonichu and he still makes videos. I would like to think Chris is getting better, but I don't think he is or will ever.
 
I think this week has practically pulled a /thread for this issue.

Chris is somehow continuing his toilet-esque spiral.
 
Chris is getting slightly better in some areas (mainly just not believing any troll is legit) but not enough to help him in any real way. Everyone here saw the new vid of him eating out the blowup doll then spinning it around on his dick as he sang showtunes, right?

If he were getting any better, he'd have found a real job by now, instead of acting like a freak on the net and waiting for tugboat to give him money - money that comes from our taxes to support his fat sorry ass.

Besides... IFF (if and ONLY if) he were doing just that - would we still need this site to document his life? Would we still need this site at all? I think we know the answer to all that and more, by now.

He's very hard to fool. That's my whole point, and no one seems to realize I'm saying that. You certainly couldn't do it, for example.

No one on this forum could do it, short of actually driving to Charlottesville and toting a girl along with you.

Chris isn't getting trolled because "lol he's dumb" (he certainly is stupid as fuck, don't get me wrong), he's getting trolled because people are willing to meet him IRL.

What's Chris to supposed to say to every girl he talks to IRL? "Well, no girls would ever talk to me, you're obviously a lying bitch"

He probably should say that, but can you blame him for not? I certainly can't.

But he's not gullibly taking *every* bit of troll-advice from the internet anymore. So hence, improving.

Not by much but I mean that is something, right? You cant just email him as xXPrettygirl420Xx and ask him for personal shit anymore.

From what you say it seems like trolling Chris has become more complex and not more complicated.

"more complex" meaning that you need more actors in place and more rl interaction with Chris than before. But it's not "more complicated" because at core, it's just making a ridiculous lie no person of average intelligence would believe, not some genius level plotting.
 
It's easy to see why people come to the conclusion that he's not improving when the end result is the same - video of humping a blow up doll in 2009, video of humping a blow up doll in 2016.

This sounds like a distinction without a difference.

The question is: would a person of normal intelligence be fooled by the same techniques that fool Chris?

The answer is: yes.

Now, the payload is juvenile, to be sure. But I don't find that to be an important consideration.

Honestly, I don't believe "genius level plotting" to be necessary to trick any person. People stick to a complex network of legal and human filters to keep scams at bay. When the scam makes its way through the filters, people are ultimately more vulnerable than common sense would suggest. The reason 419 scams are prominent is because they actually work.

Hiking the Everest is complicated. It's inherently hard, even if conceptually it boils down from going from point A to point B.
Investing (efficiently) on the stock market is complex. There's plenty of variables to keep in mind at all times, even when buying and selling stocks is easy.

A distinction worth making is that a good deal of the people who lose money to African royalty are computer illiterate and/or senile and not just plain retarded. Chris is plain retarded.

Even then, the people who fall for half assed scams learn their lesson and don't stumble twice against the same stone. Chris on the other hand is going to stumble against a handful of stones (fake Chris, sweetheart, making Sonichu a franchise) for the rest of his life.

This is precisely the scenario. And the run up between the initial contact and the time when it finally becomes absurd can be months long.

Is Chris supposed to be balls deep in the con, realize something's fishy afoot, and then decide to pull out? Even if he should, that's a tall order for anyone.

Like I said, I don't take the actual payload of the con to be important. Why? Because the techniques are the same. If the payload itself finally started to arouse Chris' suspicion, then we could tweak things a bit and it'd be the exact same procedure.

Chris doesn't get trolled out of some karmic justice because "he should know better" or "it's his fault". He gets trolled because it's funny. The exact same template could be reused on plenty of other ordinary people.

I think most normal people would not fall for "make a sex tape to show you would be a good sperm donor for a lesbian couple" trick. Or the whole Jackie saga. Or believe that people actually mistook you for a guy who was probably 100 lb less.
