Agent under fire was kino as shit.
Goofy as hell (this is what happen when you have clones as a plot point)

If you were to completely remove Bond and it was instead it's own IP, would it still be a good game?
The question was what would it been like without the IP.
Without the Bond IP this would best be Telltale game with slightly more interactive bits since gunplay and melee (that is a significant part of most fights) absolutely suck here.

Splinter Cell Blacklist would be a solid combat/solid stealth example to live up to and First Light is very, VERY far from it with its gameplay.

M has always barely been a character
Which is why I don’t understand the outrage.

Even if Q and Moneypenny dont do much
Moneypenny is barely a character in the books and Q isn’t even a character at all technically.
When they talk about Q they mean the branch not the character.
Male M doesnt fair much better.
I concur. Bernard Lee was great but he doesn’t do much.
The game sucks balls. It’s boring, repetitive, the gameplay sucks ass. Bond looks like a twink faggot, Nigger Moneypenny, Hajeed boss, But worse than all that. It’s just dull.
Bro has no clue what a twink is.
You retards are so shit at trolling dear god.
I've played too many games that look exactly like it. It's not a fault of Bond or the writers/IP holders, it’s videogames in general. If anything I'd rather just watch somebody play it
Perhaps it’s just you?
The more I envision what great modern Bond game would look like, the more I realise I'm just reimagining Hitman WOA
Except WoA isn’t a good model for Bond. People whine about linear and walking around? That’s what the Hitman games are.
You get punished for going in guns blazing where that would make zero sense for Bond.
The Pierce Brosnan movies are just further up the slippery slope
Alright there all I need to read to throw your opinions on this franchise in the fucking trash.
The question was what would it been like without the IP.

Also I found a video of all cuteness including walking sim moments you can't skip. Considering the fact this is a 15 hour game, over half of it is no gameplay (at least from the parts I jumped around). Absolutely insane.

Bro is purebred retard.
Cause I've seen every movie and read all the books and think the new game is ass.
Favorite Gardner book off the top of your head no looking anything up.
Go.
the game itself looks trash.
Hasn’t played it lmao.
1. Goldeneye
2. Everything or nothing
3. First light
4. Nightfire (console)
Solid list.
Blood Stone on Xbox 360 was fun as fuck, & this is coming from an ardent Craig Bond hater.
Same. Can’t stand Craig era but Bloodstone was dope.
Agent under fire was kino as shit.

First real “Bond Game” in my opinion.
The Duel was pretty darn good run and gun 16 bit game with a Tuxedo skin.

Goldeneye is a legendary game that revolutionized console FPS games but it’s mostly just got a Tuxedo skin. Bond isn’t what makes that game the revolutionary game it was. Could’ve been a different IP.

AUF, Nightfire, EoN, FRwL are all legit BOND experiences. Bloodstone is as well and I can confidently put First Light in that category.

Perhaps it’s just you?
Perhaps, I'll still say it though.

I'm not sure you have the same definition of linear in videogames as most others. You don't really get punished for going in guns blazing, you just have to be at least a little smart about it, depending on what section of the map you're on and the guard presence. Don't get surrounded, stay behind cover, move fast, disappear if the opportunity shows. It's not long corridored sequences of scripted events and animations that you are 100% intended to go through with no alternate routed or other ways to approach the goal. That's what most people mean by linear.

Wouldn’t be surprised if you looked like that.
Go ask mommy for chicken tendies.

Perhaps not with WoA but the older Hitman games, which I liked a lot, were more linear. There was a few different ways to go about completing the mission but you were definitely punished for going guns blazing.

I don’t see a problem with linear either. Most games were linear back in the day.

I’m glad this game isn’t just Hitman with hair. That wouldn’t make sense for James Bond.

Are you sure? Blood Money had ammo types and modifications outright meant for you to go in guns blazing and kill everyone. The only one I found it to be truly extremely punishing in was Contracts, and only in a few maps.

Yes but with the scoring system you were incentivized to not do so. It’s why the end level of blood money is so satisfying because you can just go guns blazing without repercussions.

I really liked how you could help another assassin by tiping things to his favor in that mission.
So cool.

As much as I liked the newer hitman games, I despise the billion and one dlcs that game has. It turns me off getting another game by IO if I don't know what version to get that has all the content.

there is that weird hitman game that is sexual as fuck with big tits everywhere, nun strippers and all of this crazy shit. now the gimmick is hitman has to kill insert famous ip. what happened hitman sisters?

Its 3 games with 2 dlc packs. Any other dlc is cosmetic because its a live service game. hitman 1 has the patient zero campaign (which mostly sucks), 2 has 2 maps bank and haven (bank is one of the best maps in the trilogy). That's it, 3's expansion map, ambrose island, was free.

edit: there's also the 7 deadly sins missions, which I hate but there is one semi-meta item in that pack, (proximity sedative bomb)

and the sarajevo 6 missions which were originally playstation pre-order exclusive for hitman 1, are lazy dogshit and not worth buying.
