Thank you. I want to touch on that as well. Diamonds are Forever featured Trina Parks as Thumper as the first Black female Bond villain. That goes well with how blaxploitation was on the rise from movies in the 70s. Point is, diversity can work in James Bond with good writing and setpieces.

Instead, people immediately go anti-woke for anything without any prior knowledge to the source material. Just as bad as people wanting to inject modern politics into everything.

More like 2 months. I don't think this game is woke, but it is very derivative and only exists due to being part of some larger, once huge now culturally irrelevant IP. We've always had games based off of these IPs like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, James Bond etc. but if I mentioned Dark Forces (2), the PS2 Indiana Jones game and Goldeneye, that's enough to get fans to reinstall it.

Modern versions of those games are just $60+ FOTM games with large install sizes, middling gameplay with no real depth and can juat be watched online for the same experience. They're basically moviegames but slightly more interactive but not by much. I wouldn't play them, but if you do, it's best to just pirate them since at least you won't waste money on it.

It's a very fun game. I wish you'd pirate it to give it a chance but even doing that wouldn't do it justice...Because you didn't spend money on it so you're not as likely to get invested in it. Even so I think you should pirate it and give it a try...It's a breath of fresh air in the world of AAA slop games despite having a lot of those tropes.

This game feels a lot like Emperor's Tomb when it comes to the hand to hand combat. I think you're not giving it as much credit as you should.

I love Goldeneye but let's not pretend that anything to do with James Bond is what made it legendary. It's a great game but it's not even a top 5 Bond game.
Agent Under Fire and Nightfire eat it's lunch as a First Person Shooter on top of being much better Bond games.

I wouldn't mind him as a side character Bond interacts with but honestly I hope they keep the budget down by not hiring these super well known actors. Get more mainly unknowns that can do a great job like Gibson.

The license certainly helped. I believe Perfect Dark was made after GoldenEye by Rare. I thought it was before.

I'd like to see a 007 movie that shows the israel arm of spectre, or try to make spectre look competent instead of a bunch of schizos being led by wheelchair fuckedupmyface cat lover (pre Cr*ig) or some retard butthurt daddy didn't love him as much or some shit.
God spectre was sp fucking dumb and the only good thing that dogshit gave us was the meme omega watch.

I love how campy they made Spectre. And my first experience with Connery’s bond was during pandemic when I was watching all his Bond movies. I love how moronic they seemed and makes Austin Powers even better.
