The AI looks on par with Star Wars Outlaws. It's far worse than the modern Hitman games, which is just weird. Of all the things to screw up.

The lack of gunplay and the railroading vehicle mechanics just doesn't fit the worldbuilding of Bond.

Nothing about James Bond made Goldeneye the revolutionary console shooter. It easily could've been a Rambo game or anything else with the same gameplay and it would've been revolutionary. It's a legendary game and I have fond memories of it but it's not the best Bond game by far.

1. Moneypenny is black, but whatever. She's cute in game and has a good dynamic with Bond. There's a pretty funny sequence where she hears him keeping the British end up over the radio and awkwardly abandons her post to get some tea.
2. M is an Indian woman, and I thought it was going to be girlboss nonsense, but she's even tamer than Dench's portrayal of M. She backs up Bond throughout the game and is only critical when Bond does one specific stupid thing.
3. Single cherry-picked frame of a depicted 10/10. They linger on her million poly wet ass for what feels like an hour.
4. Black NPC in Africa. Pretty good example of how people are taking things out of context.
5. The character ranting about the movie poster is a pompous and smug spoiled girl and she's arguing with a dude that just keeps saying it's badass, because it is. Considering it's a well-done legally-distinct version of "The Street Fighter," I don't think she's anyone's stand-in. The argument really isn't even against the poster itself as a concept but how it doesn't belong in the kitchen.
6. Don't remember encountering this character at all.
7. I thought the ending is good. The whole reason he gets rescued in the end is that James Bond is so good at wooing and fucking that even the hardened Spectre agent sent to manipulate, use, and discard him can't stand to see him die after he sacrifices himself to finish off the bad guy. Sets up some interesting stuff for the sequels.

I had some complaints about the gameplay but otherwise enjoyed it, but shit like this just puts me in sperg mode.
