If I remember correctly, her brother was about 19-20 at the time, in college, and had a misdemeanor for possession of weed. Him staying at home was a way to save money, and the parents could keep him in check. Nicole is just shit in logical thinking.

According to Nicole (so take with a grain of salt the size of the goddamn moon), he does have some sort of mental illness because he OD'ed on steroids and it had some sort of permanent mental deranging effect (?!)

A digression: there's an entire body of mid-century American literature exploring the ways that the stereotypical postwar "American Dream" lifestyle is empty, hypocritical, unfounded, or lacking in some way. Think "Catcher in the Rye", "Death of a Salesman", and so on. But reading them two generations after they were written, they never really had any resonance with me, because we're already living in a society that has been grappling with these issues for decades and evolving in response to them. By now everyone has made their peace one way or the other with the conventional life (warts and all), and we live in an era with unprecedented freedom to pick and choose the parts of it that appeal to you and reject the rest. So, there's a certain temptation to see American life as being at a Fukuyama-esque "end of history".
Listening to the Ickes household on tape explodes that idea entirely and says: no, the postmodern lifestyle is just as much a mass of contradictions waiting to collapse on itself, just as much a powderkeg in a room full of oily rags. And the explosion is named Nicole.
There's a modern-day "Death of a Salesman" waiting to emerge from the raw material of "Mom Cruelty" and "General Abuse" if they ever found their way into the hands of a gifted playwright.

Where are you finding any recent updates from her? I've tried looking through her Tumblr but all I could find is endless pseudointellectual posturing in replies to other people's posts.
That aside, it would be a pretty large coincidence if there were another "Nicole Ickes" in the same general location and the same general age.

I'll link anything I come across from here on in. I'm having a slow day so I can devote the next few hours to scanning this bloated mess of a Tumblr. I'm up to early June of this year, and it's starting to lag out my computer so I probably won't go much further. She's never mentioned being married or living outside of her parents home, but she's also not bitched about her parents (apart from the three posts about the FILTH). And the place she was evicted from earlier this year (along with Matt Spor) was in Scottdale, PA, about 5 miles away from Mt. Pleasant. I think it's safe to say that the identity in the court papers is someone who doesn't live with their parents. Really the biggest question mark is how to square that with her social media identity that seems to have just kept on truckin' as if nothing ever changed.

April 20th stands out, as she only reblogged two entries. It could be that she was bailed out during the day (her bail would have only been $1,000).

Another anomaly that I saw was she only reblogged one thing on August 8th. Having only two dates wont constitute a behavioral pattern, but it does seem to fit the timeline of "hey, I got arrested".
