Old guy got attacked by an alligator. Wife tried to help. Cell service was out so she ran to get help and when they got back the guy & gator are gone.

Not much to add because I am utterly fucking exhausted, but this was shared from a friend of a friend of a friend via text

I spent two weeks in Slidell visiting one of my dad's friends when I was but a lad. I might be a dick thinking this, but I can only hope it gets completely washed off the face of the earth. Its an absolute hellhole. Shit people, shit place. I can't think of a single redeeming quality. My dad got fucking malaria. Its gets like a 3rd world country down there in the boonies.

The NOPD Chief just said in a press conference that he refuses to answer questions about how many arrests have been made due to looting because he doesn’t want the media to spread a false narrative.

So you know what that means...
Party is just starting. Tyquan and Derrell are getting new PS5s and Jordans soon!
Yep!

Yep!

But the narrative isn't false if its true

And this will get bad if it takes 30 days to restore power. I mean entire swathes of the city may have become ungovernable by then. If your phone doesn't work you aint calling 911 and their phones don't even work police have no idea what's going on as the sun sets. Personal vendatta's are being settled gunpoint right this second and ATM machines are being broken into.

So, basically Louisiana and Mississippi are kinda screwed right now. People are coming from all over the greater NO area to find gas and food, which in turn forces the locals to go further to search for gas and food, and the problems are slowly creeping north. It’s a chain reaction from hell. If you or anyone you know lives in that area, now is the time to stock up.

They’re coming for you next...

If what's left of Ida is still strong when it'll the Five borroughs and Long Island, is it a way of karma biting the backs of DeBlasio and Cuomo?
If that's the case, then Ida is mad as fuck with both of them cause she's even bringing tornados and shit

To be fair, prolly everything in that building is a write off and would be thrown in a dumpster.

I am the furthest from pro-looting, but that is more akin to scavenging garbage than looting a pristine store in a barely touched area that is just without power and police temporarily.

The ATMs are a bit more grey area though.
If it's been set on fire/submerged 24hrs already, well..

Flooding in NYC and tornados in Jersey and Philly:

Gloucester County:

Those niggers are stealing beer. This isn't life sustaining food, they're literally stealing alcohol to get drunk on. Unopened cans of beer that have been flooded over are perfectly fine and salvageable.
