Water Devils are one of those things that really take experiencing their speed and ferocity to really respect. At first I thought they were just a minor hazard but ohhhh no. You do not want to poke your toes into a river if you see more than one, or if one is remotely close to the ford. They also rather wisely made it where they're both low value for experience and not that easy to kill so most hunters will just circle around them rather than fight or make a lot of noise. Not worth it.

Still not as bad as Hellhounds though.
Gator Legs are your friend. I make sure to have it on every character I run now. For the cost, it really is a really useful perk.

Hells yes. Gator Legs is one of those perks that a lot of people don't consider terribly impactful but I feel it does open a lot of opportunities. It, Kiteskin, Beast Face, and Light Footed are all great movement assists that tend to get shoved aside when dealing with higher end builds.

Though compare it to widely chosen meta perks like Greyhound, Packmule, and Determination and you can see why to a degree. Gator Legs is great though I usually throw it on to most hunters.

Looks like there's gonna be an adaptation helmed by some real no-names. I'm expecting it to either be dogshit or Hunt: Boss Nigger.

I love this game, but I suck at it. I can't use a rifle for shit, so my favorite weapon loadout is a shotgun + revolver.

Rifles are good if you wanna snipe from a good distance, if you get the perks to lessen up hand shaking/staying in irons sights after each shot you can do some nice damage.

Also, the newly added abilities and the winter event is a pretty damn fun mix. Oh and they dropped the prices on legendary hunters by 100 hunter bucks.

I've been playing for a year +. I spent most of my free time yesterday grinding out QPs for event points. That Krampus Legendary is badass.

This game would be even better if it had a PvE exclusive mode, kind of like dungeons and raids in Destiny, to complement it. I like the main mode, but I have a friend who doesn't like playing PvP, so if we could play PvE we could actually do it. But I guess they're really focused on what they have now, and won't be releasing any thing like that.

I played the every living fuck out of this game last year until my old gming laptop died and I can't seem to recover my steam account. Been wanting to game for a while now. PM me invites to any gay tranny/tranny hunting servers and groups. Once I get my new GameStop I'll get my acc back and remind niggers why they nerfed the sigma spear.

HOW DO I SEE SHIT IN THIS FUCKING GAME? Motherfuckers click on my head through 3 bushes out of the fucking mosin and i cant even see them in the window
People are so used to sterile environments in shooters that they bump up the gamma during night maps and use reshade to improve visibility of anything that moves, so playing solo is just masochism. Grab a partner when you play or, if you want easy mode, two partners - teams of 3 over third party voice guarantee at least a few wins because the game was never made with trios in mind.

The game's muddy pallet can make spotting enemies difficult for a time. You'll get used to it as you go but a bigger thing is learning to read the sounds you'll be hearing from monsters and players. The entire game world is filled with various sound cues and traps that will give away your location unless you are crawling at a cautious pace. Doing that will mean more time to be seen, so keeping your eyes perked is the winning play.

Seconding this. Get a partner if you can its a much more enjoyable game with someone watching your back, having someone to shoot the shit with, and being able to strategize. It also means the higher likelihood of kill trades isn't an instant end to your match. Solo play is flatout hard mode unless you're a unicum player who knows the compounds and sound indications on a professional level.

Or you're just sniping to farm your K/D which is another boring thing in and of itself.

Sooo...big fucking whoop...
Game's busted, they're getting whales to pay more for it. Devs use this to say the game is fine. The gameplay is never fixed and nothing is added. See: Fortnite, War Thunder, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Halo Infinite, every mobile game ever.
The only point from then on is to get pissed at teammates and buy skins.

Lets seee....Fortnite is a battleroyale, Halo Infinite is just oldschool gaming and Apex Legends is also free, like Infinite and Fortnite. Also, Rainbow Six tried to add that shitty zombie "mode" while Fortnite tried to be Among Us. Furthemore, what do you want them to add exactly? Yes, the game has a formula, but said formula works for this type of game?

I hate how sweaty the player base gets during events. I've just started running whiteshirts to collect as many event clues and snake baskets as possible and skipping bosses. Feels more efficient and less stressful than trying to navigate a compound laced with several hundred traps and corner camping shotgunners.

Its because a lot of people are wanting to hard farm the points to get the whole track ASAP. Even streamers are getting whacked by the sweatlords swarming right now. It will calm down eventually but right now they're out there looking for blood to get their shinies.
