I wonder if the Brie/Camembert cheese boxes they're using are actual upcycled boxes that have seen cheese, or if they got them custom made from scratch to get the logos burned in.

If they don't smell like soft cheese I don't want nothin to do with 'em

It's not tr00 or KVLT if it doesn't sound like it was recorded on a dictaphone though.

The moral of this story is to gatekeep your scene from commies, anarchists, and the rest of the far-left unless you love endless purity tests.
e: conversely, I just listened to "Dead Loons" off of Panopticon's (who the internet says are RABM) newest album and thought it was pretty good but I always kinda liked that... I dunno the actual term, it just sounds like a wall of noise. It sounds... big. Same reason I like Subliminal Genocide by Xasthur
Panopticon is great stuff but it's pretty ironic that even if the guy might be a commie and one of RABM's biggest names, his music owes a fuckton to Burzum's Filosofem and other shit made by bad people you aren't allowed to listen to.

It's really mindboggling to see this nonsense in the metal scene when it used to be you'd just make fun of Nazis, commies, Christians, and other ideological zealots and just listen to the music.

Panopticon dude was also working with the turncoat from Saor. Same guy that was on Darker Than Black, writing blood and soil lyrics and begging to be allowed into the Pagan Front until he started getting popular and couldn't handle the flak over his views and changed tunes.

The concept of RABM is a total joke. It makes no sense given the history of the genre. Shallow mimicry from trannies and trust fund skate punks.

It does seem akin to white nationalist hip-hop, which I guess is a thing for some insane reason, albeit not a very big thing
Honestly, White Nationalist Hip Hop makes more sense than Red/Anarchist Black Metal. I'm not joking. Yes, Hip Hop's origins are indelibly Black, but political conspiracy theories, casual racism, antisemitism, gay bashing and hypermasculinity are already common themes in Hip Hop, so a White Nationalist rapper would simply be a racial inversion of a Black Nationalist rapper. There was an attempt to bring WN Rap to America's growing wigger population as early as 1994, but it wouldn't quite take until the late 2000s and 2010s when Rock had permanently taken a backseat to Hip Hop. Apparently, Nazi Rap is a big thing in Germany:

I've never even bothered with the forums, I knew even before I got proper into metal that they were a PC hellhole, and cursory excursions since have proven me correct. The Archives themselves are great for general info about bands and releases, though I wouldn't trust band biographies always, unless there's cited sources.

It's funny to see a lot of leftists seethe about NSBM and edgy bands, yet many seem to be fans of Varg, and nowadays a Burzum shirt is fashion with left-leaning e-girls.

Most of the band biographies are pretty short except for really famous bands like Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden in which case it paraphrases Wikipedia, and wiki articles on old famous bands are actually pretty good since they cite good book sources.

I remember when back in the late 00s the forums weren't so bad (I mostly lurked) and were a good place to get recommendations on metal and even other shit. There wasn't the same sanctimonious REEEEE NAZIS and they'd treat Nazi bands the same way they'd treat Christian bands with the whole "well I think the lyrics are dumb, but..." and all. Generally it felt pretty anti-censorship aside from the autistic obsession with classifying what was metal and wasn't metal.

It was probably like most left-wing websites where once new marching orders went out, they rapidly converted into SJWs and classified everyone right of center as a Nazi.

One reason I haven't really checked out the forums is the fact that I'm not able to join them, the link to registration seems to be broken and it has been months, unless I've missed something obvious.

I know this has been said previously, but I just can't understand how many of these people miss the point of metal entirely. Not too long ago I stumbled upon a thread on the forums about bullet belts. Many said they looked cool, but feared it would have 'perpetuated violent gun culture' and made people uncomfortable.

I think you have a mix of particularly cucked actual metal fans (like site owner HellBlazer) who go along with leftist shit for one reason or another and then a mass of hipsters who've latched onto metal in the past decade or so because shit like black metal (especially shit like Deafheaven or ideologically "cool" shit like RABM) and tech death is now hip to like. But they don't fit in because they have zero real interest in the genre's trappings. Even far-left bands like Kreator will still wear bullet belts because it's metal and they feel like it.

Like if you want to be "comfortable" around metal, you're a fucking idiot who doesn't belong there, since the genre has been transgressive ever since Black Sabbath went on stage and sang about black magic and witches and offended a bunch of Christians. Even when they started wearing crosses on stage in 70/71 it was mostly because they were sick of being lumped in with other occult-themed rock bands so decided to fuck with that crowd. Like they whine about NSBM but the most metal thing you could do is be a black guy or a Jew and show up to an NSBM show. I know I don't care that Tony Iommi supports BLM, that Jon Schaeffer of Iced Earth supports Trump, or Kreator are a bunch of antifag loons, I just want to hear their music.

Caller of the Storms can go to any black metal stage on Earth and get a standing ovation. Absolute chad.

I remember checking out an r/rabm or similar subreddit thread about the Steelfest cancellations, and one of the commentators talked about how 'chilling' it was to be around 'Nazis', who'm they went on to describe as normal, relatable people who ate ice cream at the show. These people can't help but shoot themselves on the foot :story:.

EDIT: Found it.

Wait, what did DSO do to piss off the metal autists? Or am I read the last pages wrong?
From what I understand, hipsters like it because it's avant-garde, but having Mikko Aspa in the band is obviously going to make it difficult for them to enjoy it properly.

Man that sounds fucking amazing. A metal show with normal people, nobody gets shanked, and there's no rampant drug abuse?

'perpetuated violent gun culture' and made people uncomfortable.

This is without a shadow of a doubt the most un-metal thing imaginable. If you are uncomfortable because someone's wearing a string of empty .303 cartridges with the lead stuck back in at a show, you have failed as a human being.

It's because Burzum's earlier stuff isn't about Varg's political views. It's mostly fantasy and history stuff.
Black Sabbath went on stage and sang about black magic and witches and offended a bunch of Christians.
The best part about this is the song After Forever being quite popular in Christian metal circles. It's up there with Trouble's Psalms 9.

A new development for a relatively recent controversy: the first song from Proscriptor McGovern's post-Absu band (named Proscriptor McGovern's Apsu), has just released their new song. Here's a few intelligent takes from the forum's denizens:

"Oh my god somebody actually is okay with Proscriptor and even contributed to the new album, fuck you you're a bad person by association"
noooooo how dare you stay friends with a transphobe.png

ackshully the normal person is the real narcissist.png

lol the tranny who attention whored his way into making these retards hating a USBM stalwart by leaking their DMs like a teenage girl isn't a narcissist at all, the real narcissist is the bandleader

dick choppers are like ancient gods, yo.png

Because shapeshifting gods who are beyond all comprehension of human beings are comparable to a man who decided he was a woman and got his dick lopped off lol

One sane poster weighs in:

lol sayonara faggot. Remember when M-A kept people like mindshadow around for years just to laugh at them? Now it's instabans for MAGA CHUDs as soon as they dare to attack a protected tranny or insinuate that some facet of far-left dogma is wrong. How the (not very) mighty have fallen.

Trannies always make things about themselves, and I've noticed some more into occult / weird stuff make themselves out to be goddesses or some high priestesses because some ancient cultures didn't have rigid gender roles occasionally, and a mentally ill man cutting off his cock is the same as some multifaceted deity from thousands of years go.

Apparently Prooscriptor McGovern's Apsû signed with Agonia Records. Can't wait for something like MetalSucks to try and direct people to throw shit at Agonia for signing muh transphobic chuds. They seethed about them signing Inquisition, but looking at their like/dislike ratio, Inquisition's addition to the label didn't lead to massive hatespam, though the comments were later disabled (not sure if the likes just top the dislikes more than during the release of the video):

What's next, black metal against transphobia? :story: Oh, of of course they've been at it for a while now:
yeah guys youre so against the mainstream.png

Also decided to check out Jon Schaffer's page, and yes, he is still described this way and if you try to edit the page they warn you not to touch the section about the January 6 riot.

I decided to do a follow-up on the Absu tranny, if for no other reason than he hasn't been covered in this thread.

If you go to his artist page, you'll notice that at no stage does his pre-dick chop name ever come up under any of the tabs.
(Archive for active bands, past bands, guest appearances, live appearances and misc)
Phew, what a coincidence, right? He's been active in the metal scene for twenty years and yet at no stage before deciding he was a pretty girl did he ever use his full name! Before re-Christening himself as Melissa he only went by the name M. Moore/M. Yale!

Of course this is all bullshit; he used male first names all the time. Starting with this band pic that M-A has somehow not scrubbed yet:
28243_photo.jpg

On the left is "Melissa", over fifteen years before "she" realized that she was actually a woman all along. Here he is as one of the two members of the notorious early-2000s grindcore duo XXX Maniak; notice how this pretty male-passing female is credited as "Michael Yale" in the picture, in direct contrast to the ambiguous "M. Yale" that M-A actually credits him as.

XXX Maniak was a weird, controversial and divisive project. Sexually charged - and in a very aggressive, masculine sort of way - they were very perverse and had song titles such as:
Try Our Atkins Friendly Jizz Load
Uncompromising Sexual Harassment at Work, Home, and in Public
Raping a Minor of the White Race
2nd Ranked Phallic Offense vs. 26th Ranked Vaginal Defense
If I Dismember Your Cunt, Are You Still a Virgin?
Wow! How dainty! How feminine! Clearly these songs, as well as many others, were the product of a female brain that just happened to be born into a male body and not that of a sexually fucked up degenerate man who decided to transition for degenerate reasons.

Also on an aside their only album was titled "Harvesting the Cunt Nectar" and features our pretty dainty female in the foreground taking a shovel to a dead woman's vagina. Just like any other woman would!

His real name is Matt Moore, as shown in the credits of old Rumpelstiltskin Grinder CDs on discogs (archive). Unfortunately, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder were shit, not very popular and from the 2000s, so not a lot of their releases have been thoroughly scanned. However, there ARE scans with his real name.

Here is proof of the connection between the Matt Moore of XXX Maniak and the Matt Moore of Rumpelstiltskin Grinder:

matt@redcandlerecords.com? Red Candle Records? Who are they? (Archive)
red candle.png

A label that only ever had four releases ever! But wait...
solace.png

So three of the four releases from Matt Moore's label are from bands that Melissa Moore was in, two of which were also bands whose booklets you see right here also credit Matt Moore on the exact same instruments that Melissa Moore is credited on M-A. And yet at no stage was Matt Moore correctly credited for the albums that he contributed to, but instead was completely deleted as though he never existed, replaced with a sexually ambiguous "M."

At this stage it's clear then that the M-A has failed to be a proper encyclopedia, or a proper archive. They have tampered with records of past albums to erase the past identity of a delusional narcissist to placate a political agenda. "M. Yale" should be Michael Yale. "M. Moore" should be Matt Moore, but they have deliberately erased all traces of those names (and the Yale name used for XXX Maniak is a pseudonym, making it even more egregious) in the name of being gayfags who think trannies are anything but mentally ill degenerates. For years the forums have been absolute cancer, but at least they have been divorced from the archive proper. Mister Moore's true objectively credited identity being erased shows that that is no longer the case; the archive is now in the same thrall as the faggotry that has infested the forum for almost a decade.

I decided to do a follow-up on the Absu tranny, if for no other reason than he hasn't been covered in this thread.
Thanks for the info, some time ago I actually tried to look up some info on Moore and his previous work with Absu and others (wasn't the biggest fan of Absu and really didn't know about their history at the time), but just googling 'M. Moore' or 'Melissa Moore' shows you many articles but many of them never mention his 'deadname'.

I also remember going through his MA page and being sceptical about the fact that all previous projects were listed with either weird stage names or as 'M. Moore'. Hell, even on the Absu Wikipedia he is only listed as 'Melissa Moore'.

Thanks for the info on those side projects, there's that subtle femininity that was showing itself years before she finally bloomed and became a real woman. :story:Some may call it kitchen sink psychology, but it's always amusing to see that trannies are most of the time very much misogynist perverts, and this is no exception. Yes, it's goregrind but come on folks.

You are also very true on the fact that at this point MA has failed to be a proper archive. If Moore wants to chop off his cock, then he should have the right to do it but you shouldn't go out of your way to distort history. With artists who use different stage names, like Werwolf, their pages always show their full, previous stage names and the names they've used on specific records at specific times:
