Previously, I was like "Why the heck do people complain so much about bad anatomy in comics? Learning to do that stuff right is really tricky. But as long as it doesn't look TOTALLY stupid, I don't really mind---"

Ok I'm going to go on a rant here.
First, take a look at this comic

So, lets ignore the fact that none of the characters look the same in every panel consistently unless they're blatantly copypasted because all these comics are like that. Mike here sets up a joke by having his characters complain about how orchestra music sucks and 8bit music is so much better (It's not, but that's my opinion). He then puts filler dialogue in the second panel building up to the punch line. And then in the last panel, there is no joke. They literally just spend the whole comic complaining.
That's not funny. That's not a joke. It's the comic equivalent of facebook 90's kids garbage.
If you are going to have a comic that's mostly (Read: All) dialogue, then you better have at the very least quirky dialogue if you're not going to feel like making a joke. These characters are exactly the same so that's not possible.

The characters also are drawn the exact same way. Literally. The only difference between the dudes and the chicks are huge bewbs.

A very poor man's version indeed. Clearly the artist wishes they had the luxury Buckley has, a library of vector art characters and body parts they could copypaste to the comics. But alas, they have to redraw everything! A significant drag for a copypastist.
