How long did you lurk on kiwifarms.net before you registered an account?

Around 5 years of semi-regular lurking. At first, once a year or so I'd check in for what was going on with that really weird guy who drew sonic fan comics. That progressed to deep dives into unrelated threads to ensure I wouldn't be sleeping that night. Now I'm here forever. God help me.
 
I'd say a year before I registered. Found out about this site when the batshit crazy Alex Mauer situation was making the rounds.
 
The very good neutralish article on GamerGate on the Lolcow Wiki (RIP) led me to believe you guys weren't just some troll/gossip cesspool. Signed up to engage in discussion over the Vic Mignogna case. Stuck around to engage in nerd battle with Byuu. Now the Happenings forum is one of my go-tos for properly filtered world news. I typically lurk regardless of being signed up or not, so, whatever.

I browsed a little bit here and there but not regularly for a few years. Usually when there was some internet drama and this place was mentioned. I wish I had joined sooner as you're the most beautiful gang of autistic psychopaths I've ever met. It's good to know I'm alone.

About 2 years. I heard about the whole "wax my balls" thing on local talk radio, which led me here. That cow got old kind of quick, but then I discovered the russhole megathread, and I was hooked. More and more I see the farms as one of the last bastions of free speech on the net.
 
I started lurking here around 2014/2015 and I made an account in 2020. I only made an account because at the time, Null was talking about maybe closing the site. I thought it'd be kind of sad if I never actually registered to the site I visit so often.

I've been lurking around for 5 years or so and only recently decided to incriminate myself even further for the lols.
 
I lurked a bit before the Churchill shooting, then the Australian government blocked the Farms from viewing - and then for some reason unblocked it. So I came back and did more lurking.

The whole Sewerslvt/Ethan Gluis(?) drama was how I discovered what kiwifarms is, which is relatively recent. It took me about like, three to four months of browsing before I finally decided, "You know what, why not join the pot and stir additional autism here and there?" So boom.

Couple months I think. Hard to remember the exact timeframe when it’s been so goddamn long. Still miss the old CWCki theme sometimes.
 
About 2 years. Figured I may as well seeing as I've been lurking for so long. In hindsight it was kind of pointless as I still haven't had anything worthwhile to post anywhere (until now).

Funny, that's more or less the story with me as well, but being here and comparing it to the regular mainstream mass media, I can say that this is paradise in contrast.
