Wait, your doctor is a tranny, or this is a doctor helping you become a tranny?
Regardless, you can use valerian root. The valeranoids in it work like benzos, but its only for short term use (2 weeks max), long term use leads to addiction and tolerance. Lavender in your environment (the flower, not the color, and do not eat it) can help. Other than that there isn't much. Melatonin is okay, but you can't take it for more than 30 days straight without a week off, and it can be psychologically habit forming in some people. I generally tell people to avoid Kava, although rare, some people can have severe adverse reactions to it and your liver will freak out and try to commit suicide. Don't even bother with opiates, benzos, barbiturates, or Z-drugs, they are all addictive and create tolerance in short order. Rozerem works for some people, and you can take it as long as you want, but there are some safety questions regarding long term use. Also don't bother with diphendydramine, doxylamine, etc... they are all psychologically habit forming and you do develop tolerance to them.
So, overall, there is some stuff you can take short term, but there is literally nothing you can take long term.
Some people swear by melatonin, but I wake up feeling like shit if I take it. Might still be worth trying.
If you wake up with grogginess, a hangover feeling, or a headache, it means you are taking too much. Cut the dosage back.
