This is the end result I got, not sure if I did it right. Is this the correct way to tie a tie?

Over under over up through. Half Windsor is all you'll ever need
Came to say the same, nothing like a half windsor. I learned it as: over, under, across, & through, where across is used in place of over-up, though over-up is nicely descriptive. Final touch is making sure that if you make a crease/ little pleat in the outward hanging portion, (ie, the wimple,) make sure it’s centered. Will look sharp.

That sounds like gobbledygook, speaking of which, the best way to make a tie is a chinaman and a railway spike.
